PERO's ON VACATION

But like MacArthur, "I shall return" - June 12.

Kofi Annan (Clueless Peacenick)

"I have come to Syria at a critical moment in this crisis.  I am personally shocked and horrified by the tragic incident in Houla...This message of peace is...for everyone, for every individual with a gun."

- Begging for an end to the Syrian civil war.

What a colossal joke!  Kofi, and every other U.N. moron, can call for all the peace they want.  Syria will be decided by the side with the most power, and the most will to use its power...It certainly won't be won by 'messages of peace', nor any other type of fairy dust thrown at it by the peace-putzes.

But by all means, the Syrians should put down their guns, as Kofi asks...Which would only lead to civil war via clubs, hammers, scythes, knives, etc.

Ron Barber (D - Gutless Wuss)

"My vote is my vote, Mr. Kelly, as yours is too and I will not be talking about other elections. I'm focused on beating you on June 12th, that's what I'm focused on."

- A town hall debate answer to a question from his opponent:  "Who are you supporting for president in November?" - Jesse Kelley (R - AZ)

Who can blame the poor guy for not having the guts to stand up and say 'I am voting for Barack Obama for President'?

I don't blame him, not at all...But Barber is a gutless wuss for not telling the truth.

Kelley should have been sharp enough to ask 'Gutless Wuss' Barber the next most obvious question:  'If you are elected to the House, will you support Nancy Pelosi to be the next Speaker of the House?'

I'm pretty sure Barber would have danced away from answering this question as well, but his truthful response would be 'I will support Nancy Pelosi to be the next Speaker of the House - just as I will vote for Barack Obama to be President of the United States.'

Those are the two vital questions of the election.  Kelley wisely asked the first, but unfortunately didn't get the second...No other Republicans running for the House should miss this opportunity.

Mayor Cory Booker (Newark, New Jersey)

"Mitt Romney has made his business record a centerpiece of his campaign.  He's talked about himself as a job creator, and therefore, it is reasonable, and in fact I encourage it for the Obama campaign to examine that record and to discuss it.  I have no problem with that."

Sunday night, after Obama got a hold of the mayor.

Of course the mayor is an Obama lackey; he's a typical Democrat:

“I talk to the White House quite often.  I’m a surrogate for the Obama campaign.” - Mayor Booker

"I love Cory Booker. He’s a great mayor. If I were, if my house was on fire, I’d hope he were my next door neighbor." - David Axelrod (Obama's Political Director)

"As far as that stuff (Obama's attacks on Romney's leadership at Bain Capital), I have to say from a very personal level, I'm not about to sit her and indict private equity.  It's just to me, we're getting to a ridiculous point in America.  Especially, I know - I live in a state where pension funds, unions and other people are investing in compainies like Bain Capital.  If you look at the totality of the record of Bain Capital, they've done a lot to support businesses, to grow businesses.  This, to me, I'm very uncomfortable with...It's nauseating to the American public.  Enough is enough."

Sunday morning, on 'Meet the Press' - before Obama got a hold of the mayor.

Poor Cory.  He comes off so pathetically in this event.  It almost looks like Team Obama took the poor guy to the wood-shed, and then propped him in front of a microphone to reverse his stand...Which sounds about right for the ChiTown thugs running the Preezy's campaign.

Luckily, no good deed is ever lost on the internet, and Romney already has an ad in Booker's honor:

Caesar Vargas (Illegal Alien)

"The filibuster is exactly that - it's a rule that's crippled our system of government...And we have seen a minority able to cripple dreams."

- Commenting about why a group of illegal immigrant students and members of the House of Representatives are suing the Senate, in an attempt to end the "filibuster" rule...With the intent of jamming an amnesty bill through Congress.

Real quick:  One, even if such a bill got through the Senate it would never get through the House.  Two, the Senate is allowed to makes its own rules - per that wicked master rule book known as the U.S. Constitution.  Three, the Supreme Court isn't going to force Congress to change it's rules...This is a waste of time, but makes for good political theatre.

I'm not going to make a case for it the "filibuster" rule, because I don't need to.

"A change in the Senate rules that really, uh, I think would change the character of the Senate, uh, forever...Uhhh, and what I worry about would be th-th-that you essentially still have two chambers, the House and the Senate, but you have simply majoritarian, uhhh, absolute power on either side, and that's just not what the Founders intended." - Sen. Barack Obama (D)

"This nuclear option (changing the "filibuster" rule) is ultimately an example of the arrogance of power. It is a fundamental power grab." - Sen. Joe Biden (D)

"Mr. President, the right to extended debate is never more important than (when) the one party controls Congress and the White House. In these cases the filibuster serves as a check on power and preserves our limited government." - Sen. Harry Reid (D)

"We are on the precipice of a crisis, a constitutional crisis. The checks and balances which have been at the core of this republic are about to be evaporated by the nuclear option. The checks and balances which say that if you get 51% of the vote you don't get your way 100% of the time. It is amazing. It's almost a temper tantrum." - Sen. Chuck Schumer (D)

"You've got majority rule and then you have the Senate over here where people can slow things down where they can debate, where they have something called 'the filibuster.' Eh, you know it seems like it's a little less than efficient. Well that's right. It is. And deliberately designed to be so." - Sen. Hillary Clinton (D)

"If the Republican leadership insists on forcing the nuclear option, the Senate becomes, ipso facto, the House of Representatives where the majority rules supreme and the party in power can dominate and control the agenda with absolute power." - Sen. Dianne Feinstein

Now that's a powerful lineup; a virtual 'Who's Who' of Democrat Senate power brokers - back in the day, when the Democrats were the minority in the Senate.  I could post hundreds more of the same, but I won't...I agreed with them then, and I agree with their opinion on the matter now.

I'm betting they don't agree with their opinion then on the matter now, however, because Democrats are the master of 'Heads-I-Win, Tails-You-Lose.'

One last question:  How do these illegal aliens have standing to sue the U.S. Senate?

Ellie Schafer (White House Visitors Office Director)

"LAST NAME:  The family's last name.
FIRST NAME:  'Baby' as a first name
MIDDLE NAME:  NMN as in No Middle Name
DOB:  Use the date you are submitting the request to us as their birthday
GENDER:  if the parents know put that gender down if not, you can enter either M or F as we'll ask you to update it at the time of birth
SOCIAL:  As they have will not have a SSN and are under 18, you will not need to enter this field.  Again if the spreadsheet asked for a social enter 9 zero's (not the word nine zeros but 000000000 and yes it happens!)
CITIZEN/CITY/STATE:  The citizen, city and state should be entered the same as the parent"

- Email to Capitol Hill staffers explaining how to register an unborn child visiting the White House.

Kinda creepy, aye?  You'd think it would be enough for the mother to register herself and note she's 'with child'...I guess not.

So many things came to mind when I saw this email.

1.  Why are they bothering to keep track of unborn children hanging out at the White House with mom?  I can't think of any logical reason other than simply padding their statistics...Some day we'll read in the history books:  'President Barack Obama had more unborn children visit him than any other president in history'.

2.  Why are they considering an unborn child a person?  Knowing the Obama administration's stance on dissecting the unborn in the womb I'm surprised they consider an unborn child anything other than possible waste material - or a future voter.

3.  Why are they referring to these children as "M or F"?  That is so unenlightened in Liberal thought.  It should be 'M or F or FM or MF'...Or even better 'MFers'.

4.  Why is identification needed at all; not just for the baby, but for the parents?  Why is it necessary to identify yourself when visiting the White House, but not when voting for the person who inhabits the White House?  I know, it's a radical question.

I ask again, kinda creepy, aye?  Not just this policy, but the entire cast of ghouls creating and executing the policy.

Jason Horowitz (National Enquirer??)

"Mitt Romney returned from a three-week spring break in 1965 to resume his studies as a high school senior at the prestigious Cranbrook School. Back on the handsome campus, studded with Tudor brick buildings and manicured fields, he spotted something he thought did not belong at a school where the boys wore ties and carried briefcases. John Lauber, a soft-spoken new student one year behind Romney, was perpetually teased for his nonconformity and presumed homosexuality. Now he was walking around the all-boys school with bleached-blond hair that draped over one eye, and Romney wasn't having it...A few days later, Friedemann entered Stevens Hall off the school's collegiate quad to find Romney marching out of his own room ahead of a prep school posse shouting about their plan to cut Lauber's hair. Friedemann followed them to a nearby room where they came upon Lauber, tackled him and pinned him to the ground. As Lauber, his eyes filling with tears, screamed for help, Romney repeatedly clipped his hair with a pair of scissors."

Noooooooooooo!  I can't vote for Mitt Romney now.  I just can't support a guy who picked on, bullied, beat up, or went 'crazy-barber' on people when he was a...

...A TEENAGER.  45-YEARS AGO!

Really?  This is the best they can come up with on ol' Mittsy?

Last I checked, when Obama was a teenager he was a pot-smoking, commie learning, POS...But I digress.

"Why is it necessary to portray Mitt Romney as a bully?  So Barack Obama, the real bully in this presidential election contest, doesn't look as bad by comparison." - Arnold Ahlert

Could it be we're all missing something about Romney?  He comes off as a total 'yutz', a straight-laced, geek.  But maybe he's stealthily waiting to release his inner teenie-boppin-bad-ass-mo-fo self on America.  Maybe he just looks like Bruce Banner, but inside he's really The Hulk.

What a joke!

"The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is factually incorrect and we are aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda." - Betsy Lauber (sister of Mitt's 'victim')

"If he were alive today, he (John Lauber) would be furious (about this story)." - Christine Lauber (sister of Mitt's 'victim')

Well, that's something Horowitz might have wanted to clear up before writing his hit-piece.  Instead he, and most of the rest of the media, is so desperate to protect Obama he'll say or do anything.  Including making stuff up or using creative license to make things appear bigger than they are...It will only get worse as we get closer to November, as the Democrats and their loony Lib pals get more and more worried about losing - LOSING BIG!

Ruffus Gifford (Obama's National Finance Director)

"Whether or not your mom’s on Twitter, here’s something guaranteed to make her smile on Sunday: getting a personal shout-out from President Obama.

From now until Thursday at midnight, you have a chance to win that for your mom or a special mother in your life - just get five or more donations to your grassroots fundraising page to automatically put yourself in the running. (If you don’t have a page, you can set one up here.)

That’s right: If your name is drawn, the President will send your mom a special Mother’s Day tweet from @BarackObama. With more than 15 million people following him on Twitter, she’ll be honored in front of a pretty wide audience.

Even if your mom doesn’t have an account, she’ll still be getting a personal note from the President of the United States, thanking her for doing all the hard work that goes into being a mother.

I know my mom, Anne, would be thrilled - and it might even inspire her to give the whole Twitter thing a try."

Pimpin out the skeezy "Preezy of the United Steezy" for a few shekels...Right on par for Team Obama.  It's what he does best.

It's the only thing he does at all!

How about just giving ol' mom a nice card or a phone call instead of making her sick with a "shout-out" from this pretender of a president.

Happy Mother's day to all the moms out there.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (FORMER Speaker of the House)

"I have strong concerns about the recent actions by the federal government that threaten the safe access of medicinal marijuana to alleviate the suffering of patients in California...(Medical marijuana is) both a medical and a states' rights issue."

Are you ready for this?  I ask again, are you ready for this?  I don't think you are ready for this...I don't know if I'm ready for this, myself.

I AGREE WITH NANCY PELOSI!

The Feds should get out of "states' rights" issues.

Like immigration in Arizona.  Like fighting states which ban gay marriages.  Like getting involved with anti-abortion issues in South Carolina.  Like the EPA crushing fracking in coal states.  Like taking Texas to court over voter ID laws.  Like selling guns to drug lords.  And most important, like forcing every citizen in every state to purchase health care whether they want it or not.

Thank you Nancy.  Thank you for standing up for the 10th Amendment:  "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Call me crazy, but I kinda like agreeing with Nancy Pelosi on this matter.

Call me crazy, again, but for some reason I doubt she agrees with me...Because she only believes in "states' rights" when it comes to Liberal crapola.  Because she doesn't really believe in "states' rights" or individual rights "to the people".  She only believes in Liberal crapola rights, and the power of the Feds to enforce or allow these Liberal crapola rights.

And the reason for that is Nancy Pelosi is full of Liberal crapola!

James Anaya (UN Special Rapporteur On the Rights of Indigenous Peoples)

"You can see they're in a somewhat precarious situation in terms of their basic existence and the stability of their communities given that precarious land tenure situation.  It's not like they have large fisheries as a resource base to sustain them...You have upwards of 70% unemployment on the reservations and all kinds of social ills accompanying that...I'm talking about restoring to indigenous peoples what obviously they're entitled to and they have a legitimate claim to in a way that is not divisive but restorative.  That's the idea behind reconciliation."

- In simpler terms, the 'Special Rapporteur' wants the U.S. to return 'stolen' lands to Indian tribes.

I'm the first to admit Indian reservations are the toilet of the United States - other than Detroit, of course.  But there is a simple solution for the Indians suffering on these reservations:  LEAVE THE REZ!!  Join American civilization...Or don't, and quit bitching.

That said, I'm all for following Anaya's recommendation on one condition:  If we give all the other "indigenous peoples" of the world their land back, too.

If Russia returns Russian lands to the Scythians.  If France returns French lands to the Gauls.  If the Brits and Spain return their lands to the Celt-Iberians.  If Iraq returns Iraqi lands to the Sumerians.  If Italy returns Italian lands to the Etruscans.  If Japan returns Japanese lands to the Ainu. Etc., etc., etc...Get the picture?  The history of humanity is the spread of people across the globe, with the dominant people of any given space and time conquering the previous population and taking over for the amount of time they can control it - until they are conquered themselves.

Hell, the Indians have been lucky compared to most conquered people in history. Because they weren't exterminated...It's a cruel reality, but a reality non-the-less.

I know this isn't how Liberal historians present history to our mush-minded children, but it is the absolute history of the world.

The Indians in the current U.S. were displaced by by current Americans.  In time, our people will be displaced by another as well - only a fool would believe otherwise.  And we'll be lucky if we are treated as well as the Indians have been.

Justice John Nicholas (Australian Federal Judge)

"If the applicant had been injured while playing a game of cards in her hotel room she would be entitled to compensation...In the absence of any misconduct, or any intentionally self-inflicted injury, the fact that the applicant was engaged in sexual activity rather than some other lawful recreational activity while in her room does not lead to any different result."

- The name of the "applicant" is being kept secret to 'protect the innocent.'

I've never picked up a stray slut to bang on a business trip - not that I'm calling this woman a slut...But if I did pick up some stranger-strange, and somehow managed to injure my self while banging this skank on a business trip, I can't imagine any reason why my employer should be liable for my mis-banging.

Nor should my employer be responsible for any injuries I might recieve "playing a game of cards", making fantasy football picks on the computer, or just picking my nose.

For some reason, the Australian court system doesn't understand this simple logic.  Why do I bring this up?  Because many Lefties think the American court system should judge American laws under the standards of foreign courts...Well, Liberal foreign courts.  They don't exactly want us following Middle or Far Eastern courts where they chop guy's hands off for smoking weed or doing 'hay, hay, ho, ho' protests.

That said, the President of the United States gets to nominate all federal court appointees.  Reason #2,453,972 to vote against Barack Obama:  To keep him from flooding the federal courts (appeals and Supreme) with lunatic Liberals - in lifetime positions - who want to judge cases based on foreign law and application...Or don't.

James Lovelock (Papa Gaia)

"We thought we knew 20 years ago.  That led to some alarmist books - mine included - because it looked clear-cut, but it hasn't happened...There's nothing much really happening yet...We were supposed to be halfway toward a frying world now...The world has not warmed up much since the millennium.  Twelve years is a reasonable time...(The temperature) has stayed almost constant, whereas it should have been rising."

- Commenting about the lack of Global Warming.

Pero, Lovelock's quote isn't Libby at all.  If anything he's speaking the truth about what normal people living in the real world notice in their normal, everyday, real lives...Opposed to the insane 'mock world' Global Warming theorists live in.

Those paying attention know the 'Climate Change' geeks of the 1970's were certain the Earth was going to be entering a new Ice Age, but that that one never materialized either.

So, why am I making note of this non-Libby-Libby Quote?  Because Lovelock was one of the main Chicken Little Lunatics who claimed the sky was not only falling, but humanity was coming to an end:

"Before this century is over billions of us will die and the few breeding pairs of people that survive will be in the Arctic where the climate remains tolerable." - James Lovelock (2006)

Oh, and James is also the EnvironMENTAList who came up with the 'Gaia' theory that the Earth is a single living system...Like Al Gore being the 'Father of the Internet', Lovelock is the 'Father of Gaia Theory'; the 'Father of Mother Earth'.

Question 1:  Why does the Left attach itself to these quacks?
Answer 1:  The Left itself is quackery.
Answer 2:  The Left hopes it can use these scare-mongering dopes to dope the rest of the dopes in the 'developed world' into destroying capitalism.

Question 2:  Are you dopey enough to believe these dopey Lefties?
