Pero's on Holiday

I've been doing political email posts and running these blogs for five years, and it's finally getting to me. I've taken short breaks in the past, but think I need a long one this time.

I need to refuel and get my wits about me again. I hope to be back to blogging full time after the New Year.

Have a great holiday season, stay safe, and keep leaning to the Right.

Contra Costa Times (Op-Ed Headline)

"Calling gas tax a 'fee' may help at ballot."

**Americans with an average level of intelligence will see through the symantics of trying to pass a "gas tax" off as a "gas fee." The CCTimes is well aware of the fact that far too many Americans don't have an average level of intelligence, however........There are at least 51 haunting the U.S. Senate, and another couple hundred in the U.S. House of Representatives. They aren't very inconspicuous, because they tend to put (D) behind their names.**

State Senator Jose Serrano (D - NY)

“I raised the issue to him as sort of a way to help immigrants feel comfortable even applying for this license."

-The "issue" he raised is a scheme to in New York City being proposed to allow "immigrants" to apply for licenses without being asked if they are illegal aliens.

**Make no mistake, this isn't an attempt to help all "immigrants," because LEGAL IMMIGRANTS have no problem getting licenses or any other type of social services.......It's a scheme to give ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS such rights, which would by default give them legitimacy.

In other words, it's a plan to sneak them in as semi-legals!!! Oh, and before Hillary said she wasn't sure about this being a good idea, she said it was a good idea.......She was almost more John Kerry-esque than John Kerry is.**

Adam Clark (Adams Middle School Principle - Brentwood, CA)

"We want to encourage our students to be free thinkers, [but] we felt that the overall message wasn't coming across clear to some members of the community."

- Comment made after deciding to cancel cross-dressing or "gender switch" day during "Spirit Week."

**I don't know what to say. I have an 8th Grade child, and can't imagine if she came home with a school announcement about "Tranny Day." It's bad enought having to fight her about wearing tight jeans and revealing tops, but I think I'd lose my mind if my she came home and said she was encouraged to go 'butch' for a day and wear a strap-on to school.

Thankfully, enough parents complained about this ridiculous idea and the school was forced to put an end to it before a bunch of teenage boys showed up with skirts and fake hooters......Egads!!**

Gov. Steve Holland (D - Oregon)

“The lads absolutely love it. And residents need not worry, the youngsters won’t be using their new skills to jump over the fence....The pole vaulting doesn’t take up much room, and it takes skill and some courage to throw yourself into the air.

- Commenting on the grand idea of allowing prisoners to take pole vaulting classes.

**I can't be the only one who finds humor and disgust at this idea? These are prisoners; jerkoffs who've earned their way behind bars.......Why in the hell do they need such a ridiculous form of exercise as pole vaulting? And you know one of them is going to get hurt, then find a shyster lawyer to sue the state.

Also, the governor called these prisoners "lads" and "youngsters" makes me want to puke. He specifically used these terms to get some sympathy for the prisoners. All of which are over the age of 18, because this isn't a juvinile institution.........Please, don't fall for BS like that. Politicians are notorious for playing with words in order to get away with the crap they propose. And even if they were under 18, they still found a way to earn their way into prison.

“It struck me as funny that prisoners are being taught to pole vault. Next they will be teaching them rock climbing and ladder making......Let’s hope they don’t get too good at it.” - Mike Lee (Misc. citizen)

NBC (Pea'cocks')

"Green is Universal."

- NBC's campaign "with a week of green-themed programming aimed at entertaining, informing and empowering Americans to lead greener lives."

**Woohoo! Just what the world needs..........A TV network trading in it's traditional multi-colored "peacock" logo for a green bird. I'm sure this will save the world.

What I'm wondering is if NBC is trading in its corporate jets, cars, etc., for bicycles and skateboards? Are they going to stop giving their talentless actors million dollar salaries, and use this money to clean up the planet instead...........NAH!!! None of this is going to be done.

How about this for an idea: NBC should go off the air for a week, in the hope that Americans will forever turn off their TV's, which would save a great deal of energy.......NAH!!!! This won't do either.

This whole campaign is a joke. It will have little-to-know effect on the planet, but it will make the green morons at NBC feel good about themselves. Also, don't let them fool you. Green isn't their favorite color; they prefer RED much more......RED as in 'better dead than red.'**

Institute for Public Policy Research (British Labour Party Think-Tank)

"Even-handedness dictates that we provide public recognition to minority cultures and traditions."

"If we are going to continue as a nation to mark Christmas - and it would be very hard to expunge it from our national life even if we wanted to - then public organisations should mark other religious festivals too."

"We can no longer define ourselves as a Christian nation, nor an especially religious one in any sense."

"The empire is gone, church attendance is at historically low levels, and the Second World War is inexorably slipping from memory."

**I know most Americans couldn't give a damn what a bunch of Limey's think, but the statements and strategies above are exactly where the American Democrat Party hope to take us.......It isn't hard at all to imagine any Democrat making these statements.

Sadly, it also isn't hard to imagine these same Democrats trying to put such statements into action if they win the presidency and keep both houses of congress in the 2008 election.....Not hard at all.

And guess what? Unless Average Jane's and Joe's like you and I get off our asses it's going to happen right under our noses.**
