Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D - ChiTown)

"Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago values."

- Commenting on Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy's stance against gay marriage.

Let's turn this around and imagine if a mayor from a Conservative city said something like:  'Ben & Jerry's values are not (insert Conservative city) values'.

How would this go over?  It would go over like like a lead balloon!  As it should...Government needs business a lot more than business needs government, and the last thing governments should be doing is creating needless reasons for businesses to leave their city/state/country.

"Apparently, Chicago values include becoming the murder capital of the nation, while hosting Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, the Christian-hating race baiter who, ironically, opposes same-sex marriage." - Mark Alexander

Oh, that too.

Michael Eric Dyson (Indecent MSM'er)

"Do you think that there should be a push for tighter gun laws given the horror that you just endured and how it has impacted you personally? Do you feel compelled to push for tighter gun laws?"

- Question asked to one of the family members of a victim in the 'Batman Attack.'

Scenario:  A guy goes nuts, injuring and killing a bunch of people; what do you do?
A)  Say prayers for the victims.
B)  Hope for justice for the guy who injured and killed the victims.
C)  Stay quiet, and by all means don't play politics with the situation.

If you are a decent human being you do all of the above (A-C)...If you are in the Mainstream Media, however, you jump straight to D).

D)  Go on-the-air (or to-press) with a crazy political conspiracy theory about Rightwingers, and the need to restrict the rights of the American people due to the actions of a crazed lunatic.

"Here's the thing, we can try to politicize this and make some sort of polarizing debate and make this a tenet of the election, but that's not what we're here to do right now. We're here to celebrate the lives of the victims that have been lost.  If somebody wants to do harm to somebody, they're going to find a way to do it. Whether it be with a weapon, such as a rifle or whether it be with any sort of means we should actually start to think about why people are doing this. And the reason why they're doing this is because they want their names out there." - Jordan Ghawi (Brother of Jessica Ghawi)

Thankfully most Americans are decent...Thankfully, more and more Americans tune out the Mainstream Media.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D - Clueless, NV)

"Next question."

Well that seems like a pretty innocuous statement; nothing like a 'Liberal Jackass Quote.'  It's important to remember 'content' isn't everything, however.  As a simple statement "next question" means nothing at all.  What's important is 'context.'

The Weekly Standard (TWS): "Leader Reid, when it comes to the Bush tax cuts...why didn't Senate Democrats push through this bill (to end the cuts) back when you controlled the Senate, the House, and the presidency?"
Harry Reid (HR): "The tax cuts weren't about to expire then. So that's why we're doing it now."
TWS: "You could have foreseen this issue two years ago."
HR: "And that's why they were extended one year."
TWS: "Why didn't they vote when you could have pushed this bill through and had it signed into law?"
HR: "Next question."

In simpler terms:
Q.  'Hey Harry, you Democrats controlled everything from 2009-2010, so why didn't you guys kill off the Bush tax cuts back then?'
A.  'Are you out of your mind?  We didn't want to take sole responsibility for crushing the American taxpayer and making the Recession even worse than it has already been..."NEXT QUESTION."

Martin Crutsinger (AP Spinmeister)

"The Congressional Budget Office predicts the deficit for the full year, which ends on Sept. 30, will total $1.17 trillion. That would be a slight improvement from the $1.3 trillion deficit recorded in 2011, but still greater than any deficit before Obama took office.  One positive sign this year is the deficit is growing more slowly than last year."

Yippee!  WoooHoo!  What fantastic news.  Obama isn't going to break his own record for deficit spending; he's ONLY going to get to around $ trillion, not over it...As if that's a good consolation.

That said, this reporter's 'good news' couldn't be BS, could it?

"During the final three months of fiscal 2011, the government ran a deficit of $326 billion, which is why the following statement found in Crutsinger's Thursday afternoon report is such a howler.  Marty, he's going to be really lucky if it comes in below $1.2 trillion." - Tom Blumer

Ah, man!  I can't believe someone from the Mainstream Media would accidentally get this wrong...Must not have been an accident.

"Unfortunately, the officially announced deficit is only half the story - literally. During June, the national debt increased by almost $86 billion, $26 billion more than June's deficit. The possibility that the U.S. might reach the currently legislated debt ceiling of $16.394 before Election Day still remains. Crutsinger didn't deal with that sad reality at all." - TB

We are so F'd!

State Senator Mark Leno (D - California)

"The bill brings California into the 21st Century, recognizing that there are more than Ozzie and Harriet families today."

- Commenting on California Senate Bill 1476, which is designed to eliminate the limit of two parents per child, but is not meant to expand the definition of who can qualify as a parent.

Huh?  I get the first part, allowing more than two people to be a child's parent, but what does the second part mean?  I'm assuming it means only humans can be a child's parent...I'm sure that'll change when California enters the 22nd Century.

Welcome to the 'Land of Fruits and Nuts.'

If this bill passes, and since it's California there's no reason to think it won't, children can have an unlimited amount of parents.  Welcome to "the 21st Century."

What's most ridiculous is for decades Liberals have been saying a child doesn't need two parents, particularly a 'mommy and daddy' - mostly not a daddy - but now they think it's a good idea to allow children to have more than two parents...More than three, more than four, more than ten?  Who knows how many parents a child really needs?  And who is to say what is and isn't legitimate, or what anyone desires is deviant?

This is sick.  It's par for the course in a land of lunatics - also known as 'Blue States' - however, where traditional definitions of normalcy are not only looked down on, but are considered useless.  It's not a 'slippery slope', it's a vertical cliff...A cliff the American people are falling off of, screaming two words on the way to their Wile E. Coyote-like crash:  'DAMN LIBERALS!!!!'

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Protectionist Putz)

"I think they should take all the uniforms, put them in a big pile and burn them and start all over again."

- Commenting on the U.S. Olympic team uniforms, which were 'Made in China.'

I'm not sure if Harry's gotten the message, but if we burned all the stuff 'Made in China' we'd have the world's largest bonfire.

Lets do a little history lesson:  In 2000 China was granted normalized trade status with the U.S...Passed bipartisanly in the House (237-197) and Senate (83-15), and signed into law by President Clinton.

I admit, Harry voted against this bill, but it is the law of the land...In fact, trade relations with China since this law took effect have been strengthened even more, and China is a 'Permanent Most-Favored Nation' trading partner.

Of course it would be nice if Americans bought stuff 'Made in America' versus stuff 'Made in China' - or Vietnam, Honduras, S. Korea, etc., etc., but there isn't much stuff 'Made in America' anymore...And the stuff which is made here is often more expensive, but only a little higher in quality.  The products that are higher in quality are more or less out of reach for most Americans.

Plus, since when are we a nation which is afraid to compete with the rest of the world?  Oh, I forgot - WE SUCK!  We are too weak, too stupid, too lazy...This is what our President has been saying since the day he took office, and unfortunately it's becoming a self-fulfilling prophesy among those who believe in Obama and his party.

35% of 'Likely Voters'

"Better."

- Answer to a poll by TheHill.com (definitely not a Conservative group); 1000 likely voters:  "Has President Obama changed America for the better or for worse?"

It's hard to believe anyone thinks Obama has changed the country for the better, but I still find it impossible to believe 53% of the American electorate put him in office in the first place.

That said, 56% of those polled said the country has changed for the "Worse", and I'm betting that's low, because a lot of people who voted for Obama won't admit he's a train wreck, but in their heart they know he is.  They just aren't willing to say it out loud.

And if even half of the 35% who claim Obama's changed the country for the better don't actually believe it, and vote with their head instead of their heart, then the 2012 Election is going to be a repeat of the 2010 Election - a "shellacking".

Jay Caruthers (Stuffed-Animal Rights Activist)

"I recently saw a movie preview, and am disgusted with what I saw. The movie in question is called 'Ted'...I will list my complaints, and hope the ACLU, PETA, Democrat Party, and other activists who support stuffed-animal rights will take up the fight, as I am.
1. A stuffed bear was made to perform for the gratuitous pleasure of humans...It's like watching a snuff film!
2. I could be wrong, but I'd bet the stuffed bear wasn't given the opportunity to unionize with other stuffed animals prior to being forced into this role.  It's just like the enslavement of blacks before the Civil War...I can't believe 'Occupy Stuffed Animals' hasn't vandalized multiple cities over this one.
3. The stuffed bear was given a part acting like a complete maniac...Stereotypes such as this are way over the top, and only reflect the behavior of 5% of the stuffed bear population.
4. What sick movie director would force a stuffed animal to learn to speak? This poor little guy not only had to speak but, horror-of-all-horrors was made to speak - wait for it - wait for it - wait for it one more time - this poor stuffed animal was made to speak ENGLISH! (Screeching sound in the background)
5. Ted - the stuffed bear - was shown as a heterosexual womanizer...Uh, everyone knows stuffed bears are homosexuals. Where do you think the gay term about 'bears' came from? Come on people, everyone knows stuffed bears prefer donkeys over kitties (do the calculus yourself)."

Has Pero gone mad? No. Every once and awhile I like to follow the old adage of 'not judging until walking in the shoes of others.'

Let me tell you, walking in the shoes of Liberal Jackasses is painful; really painful. This is a fact I hope everyone understands, and feels for when they are forced to communicate with Liberals...Why are Liberals in such pain? After 'walking in their shoes' I have discovered the answer: Being full of shit is excruciating.
