Logan Scherer (PETA Putz)

"[Punxsutawney] Phil is forced to be on display year round at the local library and is denied the ability to prepare for and enter yearly hibernation...Add to that the displeasure of large, screaming crowds, flashing lights of cameras, and human handling. If Punxsutawney frees Phil, then the bitter winter that's made him into an unwilling media attraction will end, making way for a sunny spring that everyone can enjoy.

- PETA wants the real groundhog replaced with a robotic groundhog.

**This damn vermin is fawned over year round, and the last thing he needs is to hibernate. If anything, this is the luckiest groundhog in the world; it would be worse in a zoo and much worse in the wild where he'd likely perish at the business end of a predator.

Per normal, I'm going to celebrate this PETA quote with a juicy steak for dinner...Thanx PETA!**

Chris Matthews (Racist or Race-Baiter)

"I was trying to think about who he was tonight. And uh, it's interesting. He is post-racial, by all appearances. You know, I forgot he was black tonight for an hour...I was watching, I said, 'wait a minute!' He's an African-American guy in front of a bunch of other white people and there he is president of the United States and we've completely forgotten that tonight - completely forgotten it!"

**Seems to me Chrissy couldn't get it out of his mind that Barack's a black guy, and is dwelling on it!

I watched the entire speech (almost fell asleep a few times, but that's beside the point), and not once did I think: 'Hey, the guy behind the teleprompter is a black guy.'...IT NEVER ENTERED MY MIND!

What I did think was: 'Damn, the guy behind the teleprompter is contradicting the hell out of himself, and is a Liberal putz.'...But not once did I think of him as a black guy or 'not-a-white-guy.'

I suppose that makes me a radical...I suppose I'm also a radical because I didn't get a thrill up my leg like Chrissy, as well.**

Barack Obama (Failed One-Termer)

"I'd rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president."

**That isn't the question, Barack. The real question is: 'Is there any chance he can work on being a decent one-term president instead of an abysmal one term president?'

The other question I have is: 'What kind of insano grading scale is Obama using to believe his first year in office was "really good?"

Maybe he was "really good" on saving the job market. Uh, maybe not. Maybe he was "really good" at keeping jihadis from attacking the U.S. Uh, maybe not. Maybe he was "really good" at passing a health care plan the American people could support. Uh, maybe not. Etc., etc., etc...Maybe I just don't understand what he considers "really good." He was "really good" at bowing to foreigners, tap dancing with the Iranian mullahs, Hugo Chavez and Vladamir Putin, bringing terrorists to American soil, spending boat-loads of money, scaring banks into not-giving loans, Global Warming scare-mongering, and collecting Nobel Prizes, however.

Eghads! Heaven forbid he's given a shot at being a self-defined "really good" two-termer.**

V.P. Joe "The Bag Man" Biden

"While we fully respect the independence and integrity of the U.S. judicial system, we were disappointed by the judge's decision to dismiss the indictment, which was based on the way in which some evidence had been acquired."

- Statement about a U.S. federal court ruling dismissing charges against Blackwater security guards who killed 17 Iraqis.

**I don't pretend to know what happened in this case, and won't attempt to defend the Blackwater guards...The reason I find this quote to be noteworthy has nothing to do with the guards.

What I'd like to know is what makes Biden [the Obama Administration] think the federal courts might not make a similar ruling when it comes to Jihadis who are moved from Gitmo [or any other military setting] to U.S. soil? These Blackwater guards were set free due to a 'legal technicality.' It's not far fetched to imagine the same happening with terrorists brought to the U.S. for civilian trials instead of facing military tribunals...I'd bet the courts could find hundreds of reasons to rule evidence was acquired in ways we wouldn't allow in civilian cases.

Hmm? I wonder if Obama's thought about this? Sadly, I think he has...Which means he'd be willing to see terrorists let loose on the American people, in the name of giving them a 'fair trial.' Also to be able to say he didn't do things 'the George Bush way.'

Just a little something to think about when our fearless/feckless leader starts bringing terrorists to the U.S. for their 'day in court.'**

Sen. Max Baucus (D - Montana)

"We have gone to the restaurant. We have eaten the meal. Now the only question is whether we will pay the check...We simply must do so."

- Statement about Congress's desire to raise the debt limit another $1.9 trillion.

**An additional $1.9 trillion will take our current debt ceiling to $14.3 trillion. A trillion is an unfathomable number, and I'm sure most have no understanding of how much money it is, but there is a simple way to analyse it: The estimated Gross Domestic Product for the U.S. is around $14.2 trillion...That means the current Congress wants to sign off on more debt than we can produce in a year, let alone actually pay off.

Maybe these fools might want to start thinking about eating at home, instead of going "to the restaurant."...Or at the very least, they should hit the Wendy's dollar menu instead of Ruth's Chris Steak House.

Nah. They just want to keep running up the tab.

O-M-G!!! The November elections can't come soon enough.**

Ed Schultz (Goebbels Award Nominee)

"I tell you what, if I lived in Massachusetts I'd try to vote 10 times...I don't know if they'd let me or not, but I'd try to. Yeah, that's right. I'd cheat to keep these bastards out. I would. 'Cause that's exactly what they are."

**Hey Ed, guess what? Your Democrat hopeful lost (Martha Coakley)...And she lost because of crazy Liberal scum like yourself.

Enough said.**

Danny Glover (Hollywood Ignoramus)

“When we see what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen, this is the response, this is what happens, you know what I’m sayin’?”

- Blaming the Haitian earthquake on the world's refusal to fall in line with nutty Climate Changers.

**What a genius.

I have a quick question, though: Is Glover setting the blame at the feet of President Obama? Or does Obama get a pass for the Copenhagen debacle? (I consider it a success, because nothing was accomplished.)...Heaven knows Bush got blamed for Hurricane Katrina (for not caving into the Kyoto Protocols).

For some reason I'm betting Obama gets a pass.**

Rachel Maddow (Vocabularly Challenged)

"I think global warming probably means extreme weather of all kinds."

- Merriam-Webster's Dictionary
Global: of, relating to, or involving the entire world.
Warm(ing): having or giving out heat to a moderate or adequate degree.

**Hmm? I know it's radical thinking and maybe it's just me, but there's no way I can get "extreme weather" of any sort out of the term Global Warming...Which is why most of the Global Warming charlatans have changed the phrase to Climate Change.

They can call it what they will, and there's no denying the Earth has and will always go through changes in its climate. The problem is they think they know how to stop the climate from changing, which is truly a radical belief...Only a narcissist Liberal can believe they have such power, and only useful idiots can believe in these narcissists.**

James Carville (Package Measuring Smeagol Wanna-be)

"Let me buy a [security] pass...so that they can scan me and search me and measure my penis, then let me get on the plane."

**Whoa, whoa, James! Keep 'Little Jimmy' in his holster.

I wonder how Mary Matalin feels about her hubby whipping 'Little Jimmy' out at the airport? An even better question: How can Mary (one of the most decent and respected Republican political consultants) be married to James Carville (one of the most obnoxious and ludicrous Democrat political consultants)? It can't be his good looks, because I swear Carville is the son of Smeagol...Maybe its something else. Maybe 'Little Jimmy' should really be called 'Big Jimmy.'

Either way, here's praying the Louisiana Lunatic keeps "the precious" in his pants.**

Sen. Ben Nelson (Cornhusker Kickbacker)

"I think it was a mistake to take health care on as opposed to continuing to spend the time on the economy...I would have preferred not to be dealing with health care in the midst of everything else, and I think working on the economy would have been a wiser move."

**Says the guy who sold his vote to Barry and Harry!

First, the last thing we need is the Democrats trying to pull another stunt like the Stimulus/Porkulus bill in an attempt to fix the economy...If they want the economy to right itself they'll quit do things to stifle it: Cap and Tax schemes, threatening business, taking over businesses, scaring businesses with the prospect of tax increases, etc.

Second, who is Sen. Nelson kidding? He didn't say anything about holding off on health care until he got caught up in the kickback scandal. The only reason he's saying anything now is because he wants to try and pull his chestnuts out of the fire a little by shifting to other problems...It's not working Ben! The American people are disgusted by you and your cornhusking kickback. Even worse, the Cornhuskers are disgusted that you have ruined their good name by accepting such a bribe.**

John Brennan (White House Counterterrorism Adviser)

"He doesn't have to but he knows there are certain things that are on the table...if he wants to engage with us in a productive manner, there are ways he can do that."

- Commenting on how the White House is trying to get information from Omar Abdulmutallab (the Christmas Panty-Bomber).

**If I didn't know better I'd think the Obama Administration is pissed it didn't crack the top 3 in the 2009 Liberal Jackass of the Year awards; Macon Phillips was #4...Idiotic policies like this one will greatly help their odds in 2010.

That said, let me get this straight: The White House is trying to bribe a man who was willing to set his testicles on fire with a panty-chemical 'cocktail?' (pun intended)...They are doing this after having read his Miranda Rights, of course.

This makes me ill. Omar should be at the business end of a water-board, or some other device to find out what information he has about future terror plots. Nothing should be off limits...But of course, this is how the anti-Obama ('W') used to do things so there's no way Barack can follow suit.

Obama better hope his new 'methods' are as successful as W's were. American lives are dangling at the end of his kinder and gentler policies of fighting the War on Terror...Err, make that "man-caused disasters."**

2009 Liberal Jackass Quotes of the Year - (Dis)Honorable Mention

Janet NapoliReno (Big Brother's Big Sis)

"Everything went according to clockwork...Everybody reacted as they should. The system, once the incident occurred, the system worked."

- Statement following the 'Panty-Bomber' incident.

**If I didn't know better, I'd think Janet was doing everything she could to get put on the Top 20 list with such a ridiculous comment at the end of the year.

That said, I guess if she is taken literally, everything was handled appropriately AFTER the would-be-bomber was unsuccessful...Maybe this is the standard the Obama Administration has established: Doing well after the doo-doo hits the fan, instead of keeping it from hitting the fan.

Barack did promise to not be like President Bush. You remember him right? 'W' was the guy who promised to do whatever it took to protect the homeland from being hit again...Last I checked he had a successful seven year run of defending the nation after 9/11. I'm sure I'm a radical for stating this truth, however.

Thank God the bomber wasn't up to the task, because if he had been the system failed miserably at keeping him from completing his task...Again, thank God for luck and this clown's ineptness, and also for the brave passengers who took him down after realizing what was going on.

Maybe I should leave my comment to a professional: "The comment is being taken, uh, out of context...Our system did not work in this instance. Uh, no one is happy or satisfied with that." - Nappy (Two days after her original, idiotic comment)

YA THINK?!?! This moron has to go. She's an embarrassment, and I refuse to believe Obama will continue putting the nation at risk by having such a light-weight in charge of something as critical as Homeland Defense...Then again, maybe she's exactly what he's looking for in such a position.**
