President's Day
In PeroVille, President's Day isn't recognized as a holiday worth celebrating - because there is no reasonable cause to celebrate the many below-average to average or disgraced presidents we've had...Guys like J.Q. Adams, James Buchanan, Chester Arthur, Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, Herbert Hoover, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, both Bush's, Clinton and Obama.
It used to be that Presidents Washington and Lincoln had their birthdays celebrated as national holidays - as should still be the case. They were by far the two greatest presidents in U.S. history: The man who formed the nation and the man who saved the nation.
Replacing the holidays celebrating these two great presidents - BY NAME - with the generic holiday of President's Day is pathetic and sad...Sort of a presidential participation trophy. Which is par for the course in modern-day America, I guess.

That said, there is one important thing to celebrate on this President's Day.
