Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D - Searchlight)

"People are going to have to walk down here and vote, and if they vote with the five men on the Supreme Court, I think it's - they're going to have - be treated unfavorably come November with the elections...[The Senate will soon] ensure that women's lives are not determined by virtue of five white men."

-  Commenting about a Democrat 'fix' in the Senate to overturn the Hobby Lobby case.

One, Harry and the Democrat Senate can do whatever they want; this 'fix' won't see the light of day in the House...So, it's a non-starter.

Two, one of the "five white men" Harry's speaking of is a black man:  Justice Clarence Thomas...I'm sure Harry considers him an 'Oreo,' however.  Racist prick!

Three, for those who don't know, Hobby Lobby doesn't object to providing 'birth control' benefits as part of it's health insurance package (it offers over a dozen different birth control options).  What it does object to is having to provide abortifacients - the 'Morning After Pill,' etc...It has no problem helping women not to get pregnant, but doesn't want to take part in killing what it considers a human, after a woman becomes pregnant.  Don't be shocked if you didn't know this, because the media has spun it as a 'birth control' issue, not an 'abortion' issue - which is what it is.

Four, if Liberals want to provide free birth control and abortifacients why don't they have Planned Parenthood supply it for free?  Answer:  Planned Parenthood can't afford it, and if women didn't need abortions Planned Parenthood would cease to exist.

Five, things are only going to get worse for ObamaCare supporters.  Not only do some of the 'employer mandates' take effect soon, which will cause massive chaos and unrest, but much bigger court cases are coming up very soon; specifically the legality of the government subsidizing some and not others.

Six, I repeat, Harry Reid is a racist prick.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D - Searchlight)

"Mr. President, the junior senator from Wyoming has come to the floor several times recently talking about the fact that examples that he and others Republicans have given dealing with ObamaCare, examples that are bad, I've called lies.  Mr. President, that is simply untrue."

- Reid's use of the English language is pretty pathetic for someone who makes a living speaking, but what he's trying to communicate here is 'he is being unfairly quoted saying all the bad things being said about ObamaCare are "lies."'

I know it's lazy on my part to use Harry Reid as a target of Libby Jackassery, but he makes things so much easier for me.

"We heard about the evils of ObamaCare, about the lives it's ruining in Republicans' stump speeches and in ads paid for by oil magnates, the Koch brothers.  But in those tales, turned out to be just that:  tales, stories made up from whole cloth, lies distorted by the Republicans to grab headlines or make political advertisements...There's plenty of horror stories being told.  All of them are untrue, but they're being told all over America." - Harry (Feb. 26, 2014 - on the Senate floor)

Oh Harry, you stupid tool!  So, which is the lie?  Your lie about Republicans lying about the horrors of ObamaCare or your lie about Republicans lying about you lying?

On a different note, I suppose it's a lie about ol' Harry giving $17k in campaign contributions to his granddaughter as well...Another 'lie', of course.  But if it is, why did he feel the need to 'reimburse' his campaign coffers?  Hmmm?

Majority Leader Harry Reid (Budgeteer)

"It's been 86 days since the Senate passed a budget.  Republicans, stop obstructing us from proceeding to conference."

- It's closer to 100 days now.

How rich.  Harry and the Democrat Party have led the Senate for the entirety of the Obama Years, and he went over four years (well over 1000 days) without bothering to pass a budget...But now he's worried about a hundred days?  Who is he kidding?

The Democrats would rather never have a legitimate budget, preferring to forever spend money we don't have on the current Zombie Budget - going forward, listlessly, with no aim, rules or endpoint.

Here's an idea for the Leader:  The House would love to forward a legitimate budget to the Senate for Harry to pass.  Any chance this would happen?  NOPE.

And how do I know it wouldn't happen?  Because this is exactly what the House has done since the Republicans took it over in 2010; they've passed a budget and it has died in the Senate...Not that Obama would have signed a real budget - or bothered to uphold it if one was passed.

Same ol', same ol'.  As it will continue to be until the Democrats lose the Senate...And until we get a President who cares about budgets, as well.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D - Searchlight)

"Government is not inherently bad; government is inherently good.  That's why we have a Constitution and that's what we direct the activities of this government based upon."

Unfortunately, government is a necessity in the human condition, because humans by nature are not good and need to be kept in check...That said, never in human history has government been considered "inherently good."

"Government is not reason; it is not eloquence. It is force. And force, like fire, is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." - George Washington

"The jaws of power are always open to devour, and her arm is always stretched out, if possible, to destroy the freedom of thinking, speaking, and writing." - John Adams

"When governments fear the people there is liberty. When the people fear the government there is tyranny." - Thomas Jefferson

"The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuse." - James Madison

Call me crazy, but I put a lot more faith in the way our first four presidents (actually our first 27) than the big-government lunatics we currently have in power.

Sadly, most of the fears about government are born out of one simple fact; a fact which is gripping our nation:

"Most bad government has grown out of too much government." - Thomas Jefferson

Harry & Nancy (Debt Busters)

"The American people need to understand that it's not as if we've done nothing for the debt.  $2.6 trillion - $2.6 trillion already we've made in cuts." - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D - Searchlight)

"The fact is, we've had plenty of spending cuts..[I]t is almost a false argument to say that we have a spending problem." - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D - Marin County)

These two, and the rest of their Congressional peers, must really think the American people are stupid.  There haven't been any 'cuts' in spending...There have been reductions in proposed spending but no cuts.

Here's how these morons work their 'magic':  Lets say the government was going to spend $10 over the next ten years; now the government is going to spend $8 over the next ten years...They are still going to be spending $8 we don't have - $8 we won't have no matter how much they tax the rich, either.

It would be like me saying I planned on going to the store and spending $100, but only spent $80, and then claiming I 'cut my spending by $20'...No, I wouldn't have cut my spending.  I would have still spent $80.

Normal people understand this.  Politicians understand it as well, but they also understand normal people don't understand politico-speak - nor the fake accounting they are allowed to use.  Fake accounting regular people would go to jail for if they did.

Here's the proof about Harry and Nancy's claims:  Click this link and look at the National Debt.  Is it going down, or is it going up?  In order for Harry and Nancy to have any claim to the truth it would have to be going down...It isn't going down at all.  In fact, it is racing "to infinity and beyond!" - Buzz Lightyear

2012 Liberal Jackass Quotes of the Year - #8

Senate Majority Leader Harry 'Richard' Reid (D - Nevada)

"Seniors love getting junk mail.  It's sometimes their only way of communicating or feeling like they're part of the real world.  Elderly Americans, more than anyone in America, rely on the United States Postal Service, but unless we act quickly, thousands of post offices...will close.  I've said this earlier today; I repeat it."

Let me make sure I have this correct.  Leader Reid's saying elderly Americans are so pathetic they wouldn't have any lives at all without junk mail?  And this is why we need to prop up the dysfunctional, bankrupt Postal Service?  Really?

My favorite part is he thought his comment was so great, he had to "repeat it"...Nothing like doubling down on stupid.

Harry 'Richard' Reid is the best example why "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" is so necessary...Harry 'Richard' happened in Vegas, and we'd all be better off if he stayed there.

By the way, I have no idea what Harry's middle name is, but he is definitely a 'Richard.'

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D - Clueless, NV)

"Next question."

Well that seems like a pretty innocuous statement; nothing like a 'Liberal Jackass Quote.'  It's important to remember 'content' isn't everything, however.  As a simple statement "next question" means nothing at all.  What's important is 'context.'

The Weekly Standard (TWS): "Leader Reid, when it comes to the Bush tax cuts...why didn't Senate Democrats push through this bill (to end the cuts) back when you controlled the Senate, the House, and the presidency?"
Harry Reid (HR): "The tax cuts weren't about to expire then. So that's why we're doing it now."
TWS: "You could have foreseen this issue two years ago."
HR: "And that's why they were extended one year."
TWS: "Why didn't they vote when you could have pushed this bill through and had it signed into law?"
HR: "Next question."

In simpler terms:
Q.  'Hey Harry, you Democrats controlled everything from 2009-2010, so why didn't you guys kill off the Bush tax cuts back then?'
A.  'Are you out of your mind?  We didn't want to take sole responsibility for crushing the American taxpayer and making the Recession even worse than it has already been..."NEXT QUESTION."

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Protectionist Putz)

"I think they should take all the uniforms, put them in a big pile and burn them and start all over again."

- Commenting on the U.S. Olympic team uniforms, which were 'Made in China.'

I'm not sure if Harry's gotten the message, but if we burned all the stuff 'Made in China' we'd have the world's largest bonfire.

Lets do a little history lesson:  In 2000 China was granted normalized trade status with the U.S...Passed bipartisanly in the House (237-197) and Senate (83-15), and signed into law by President Clinton.

I admit, Harry voted against this bill, but it is the law of the land...In fact, trade relations with China since this law took effect have been strengthened even more, and China is a 'Permanent Most-Favored Nation' trading partner.

Of course it would be nice if Americans bought stuff 'Made in America' versus stuff 'Made in China' - or Vietnam, Honduras, S. Korea, etc., etc., but there isn't much stuff 'Made in America' anymore...And the stuff which is made here is often more expensive, but only a little higher in quality.  The products that are higher in quality are more or less out of reach for most Americans.

Plus, since when are we a nation which is afraid to compete with the rest of the world?  Oh, I forgot - WE SUCK!  We are too weak, too stupid, too lazy...This is what our President has been saying since the day he took office, and unfortunately it's becoming a self-fulfilling prophesy among those who believe in Obama and his party.

"Well, for most Americans, [bike paths] are absolutely important. It's good for purposes of allowing people to travel, um, without burning all the fossil fuel on the highways. I got up this morning really early, and went out and did my exercise. I'm not exaggerating - scores! - at least 30 or 40 bikes - so scores may be a slight exaggeration - of people, not just for exercise, traveling to work. Backpacks on - they are going to work. That's what bike paths are all about!"

This is what the 'top dog' in the U.S. Senate spends his time with?  It may sound absurd, but truth be told it's probably the most intelligent thing to come out of his pie-hole in a long time.

The number one goal for the 2012 election needs to be removing Obama from the White House, but a close second should be evicting Reid from the Leader position...Taking the Republicans to 60+ would be even better.

“If I had a choice, I would favor [Jon] Huntsman over [Mitt] Romney.”

Many Conservatives are concerned with the Republicans in the Presidential nomination race, and a lot of these concerns are worth worrying about.  That said, it's also hard to deny Romney's comment at the last Republican debate:  "Anyone on this stage would be a better President than Barack Obama."

Huntsman wasn't on that "stage", but he would be better than Obama, as well.  But, he wouldn't be better than Romney...Nor would he be better than the others on that "stage".

The fact that Harry Reid, one of the top Liberal pukes in Senate, likes Huntsman more than the rest says a lot...The fact that the Huntsman family has donated very nicely to Harry Reid's campaigns in the past (not Jon directly) could have a bit to do with Reid liking Huntsman, too.

Or maybe Harry feels he owes Jon Huntsman a little love because his kid (Josh Reid) was appointed to the Utah Board of Regents by then Governor Jon Huntsman...Doh!!

Like I said, the fact that Harry Reid likes Jon Huntsman says a lot...And like I also said, I'd still prefer Huntsman over Obama.

"I am going to go back to Washington tomorrow and meet the president of China.  He is a dictator...Maybe I shouldn't have said dictator, but they have a different type of government than we have and that's an understatement."

Harry's correct, China is a dictatorship, though President Hu isn't it's dictator; the Communist Party is...As such, I have to admit Harry's comment isn't a Liberal quote.

Calling Hu a "dictator" during his state visit is most definitely a Jackass quote, however..."and that's an understatement."

The President of the United States is begging China to play nice (quit hurting the dollar, quit making its people disappear, quit helping North Korea and Iran - keep buying American debt - etc., etc.) and the last thing he needs is the Senate Majority Leader to publicly embarrass his guest...I guess this is what we get for having a public embarrassment for a Senate Majority Leader, though.

2010 Liberal Jackass Quotes of the Year - #6

Majority Leader Harry Reid  (Senate Triumvir)

"[Barack Obama is a] light-skinned [black man]...with no Negro dialect unless he wanted to have one."

- Comment Reid made about things that were in Obama's favor while running for President.

Oh Harry. You racist BAS-TARD!

I can't imagine what Democrats would be saying if a Republican made a statement like this...Oh wait, I know exactly what they'd be saying.

"I want to say this about my state: When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over all these years, either." - Trent Lott (2002 comment about Sen. Thurmond, a segregationist)

"The Republican Party itself has to drive out Trent Lott. If they have to stand for something, they have to stand up and say this is not the person we want representing our party." - Barack Obama (2002)

Obama was correct in 2002, and Lott resigned his post in the Senate Republican leadership. Any chance Obama will demand the same of Reid? Any chance Reid will step up and do the right thing on his own? HAHAHAHA! There's no way in Hell!

What I want to know is why do American blacks allow themselves to be continually used and abused by the Democrat Party, and will they ever figure it out? Even more important, what are they going to do to the Democrat Party if they figure it out?

"I'm glad I had the opportunity to know Ted Kennedy.  Whether you agree with him or not, what a life he lead with his two brothers being assassinated, his other brother being killed in World War II.  And Robert Byrd who just died.  What a...he was in the Congress of the United States for more than 25 percent of the time that we have been a country.  That's fairly remarkable."

- Answer to the question:  "Can you think of a greatest living American?"

1.  I can't believe we are in the middle of one of the most important elections in American history, in which Harry is fighting for his political life, and a reporter is lobbing him softballs like this question.

2.  I know Kennedy and Byrd resembled corpses for much of the end of their time in the Senate, but they haven't been "living" for awhile...Duh.

3.  What a joke for Reid to pick two 'deadies' with such illustrious histories as the Duke of Chappaquiddick Bay (killing a poor lady), and KKK Byrd ('Kleagle' and 'Exalted Cyclops')...Nice group of friends and people to think so highly of Harry.

I rarely do this, but Harry deserves to be heard, not just read:

**Uhhhh, "only 36,000 people lost their jobs today"? That's "really good"?

I suppose our 9.7% unemployment rate is "really good", too? I suppose our 'real unemployment rate' of 16+% is "really good", as well?

What's really scary is if this jobs report is anything like most of the reports which have preceded it, then we'll get a re-evaluated report in a week or so showing an 'unexpected' jump in unemployment...'Unexpected' my arse.

Harry's just nuts...Numb-nuts!**

Majority Leader Harry Reid (Senate Triumvir)

"He talked about CBO saying that there would be $54 billion saved each year if we put caps on medical malpractice and put some restrictions - tort reform - $54 billion. Sounds like a lot of money, doesn't it, Mr. President? The answer is yes. But remember, were talking about $2 trillion, $54 billion compared to $2 trillion. You can do the math. We can all do the math. It's a very small percent."

**Reid was trying to make the point that tort reform wouldn't do much good when it comes to the overall cost of health care...Amazingly, he finds $54 billion not worth trying to save. Couldn't be that he and his party are in bed with trial lawyers (tort scum), could it? Nah.

Interesting as it is, tort reform isn't what caught my attention in this statement...$2 TRILLION?!?!

We've been told ObamaCare will cost around $1 trillion/year. Reid's comment must be one of three things:
1. He's just a moron who should never be put in front of a podium, because he has no clue.
2. He made a 'Freudian Slip,' and accidentally let the cat-out-of-the-bag about the 'real cost' of ObamaCare...Which is likely a low-ball guesstimate in actuality.
3. He's floating a trial balloon to see if the American people will accept $2 trillion...Even though they've been adamant that $1 trillion is a problem.

Says here, the answer is ALL OF THE ABOVE...Harry's an idiot, he accidentally stated an amount the Democrat leadership knows is closer to the truth, and is looking to see how nuts this 'new number' will make people.**

- Comment to Capitol reporters after the Senate bailout vote.

**There are a lot of jerk-offs among Democrats, but Harry Reid might be the biggest of them all (which is why he's labelled the "Master-Bater").

"Senator Harry Reid is not personally aware of any particular company being on the verge of bankruptcy...He regrets any confusion his comments may have caused." - Jim Manley (Reid mouthpiece)

Ah, the leader of the U.S. Senate didn't mean any harm.....BUT HIS DUMB ASS SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!!

Sen. Reid's Loose Lips Sink Insurance Stocks

It's hard to believe this man is one of our national leaders. It's even harder to believe if Obama becomes president, Harry will become part of the "Triumvirate From Hell"...........If you have no idea what I'm talking about (Triumvirate), you need to come by more often.**

**Of course it's Bush's fault.......Everything is Bush's fault.

Hurricane Katrina was Bush's fault. 9/11 was Bush's fault. Poor Black kids killing each other in the ghetto is Bush's fault. Little girls being raped by their uncle is Bush's fault. Miners dying in Utah is Bush's fault. Phoenix, AZ being hot as hell in the summer is Bush's fault. Etc., etc., etc...........EVERYTHING IS BUSH'S FAULT!!!

Well everything except the economy still being strong, the U.S. homeland not being hit by the Jihadis since 9/11, gas prices around $2.65/gallon, etc., etc., etc..........Of course, nothing good could be Bush's fault.**

"It is clear that the Iraqi people don't want us there. It is clear that there is now a state of chaos in Iraq. And it is up to the Iraqi people to make themselves safe."

- NON-Answer to a question asked by ABC's Jack Tapper at a press conference.

Here's the question, followed by the rest of Tapper's questions and Reid's answers:

"Do you think the Iraqi people will be safer with U.S. troops out?" (Tapper)

"With all due respect, Senator, you didn't answer my question." (Tapper)

"This isn't a debate. We're answering questions." (Reid)

"Will the Iraqis be safer?" (Tapper)

"Anyone else have a question?" (Reid)

CLICK HERE to listen to the audio.

**It's no surprise Sen. Reid didn't want to answer these questions, because he (as well as every other Democrat SOB) knows if the U.S. pulls out of Iraq there will be a bloodbath of epic proportions......An event which will bring chaos of the highest order to the Middle East. The Saudis, Egyptians, Jordanians, etc., will come to the "aid" of the Sunnis. The Iranians will come to the "aid" of the Shiites. And the Turks will go after the "troublesome" Kurds.

I don't blame Reid for not answering these questions. He couldn't possibly do so without admitting he's willing to allow genocide and chaos in the Middle East...........Which he is, but is unwilling to say out loud.**

**Reid is correct, there is "lots of support" for the Amnesty Bill. Unfortunately most of it is coming from illegal immigrants and groups like La Raza (The Race) and MEChA (Movement Of Chicano Student for Aztlan)..........."The Race" is pretty self explanitory, but for those who don't know what Aztlan is:

Aztlan = The mythical home of the Aztecs.......Which includes California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Southern Colorado and part of Mexico.

Luckily, Harry's "problem inside the Senate chamber" is due to the fact there is massive support AGAINST the Amnesty Bill, and enough of the members of the U.S. Senate realize their job is to do the work of the American people as a whole.........Not to try to make those who make the most noise, and the racist groups of La Raza and MeChA, happy.**
