Sen. Harry Reid (Majority Leader - Nevada, Mousi pugiliticus)

“[George W. Bush is] the worst president we ever had...When you have a president who is so unpopular...it really reflects poorly on Congress. None of [Congress’ approval ratings] are real high and we acknowledge that, but most of it relates to the unpopularity of the president.”

**Of course it's Bush's fault.......Everything is Bush's fault.

Hurricane Katrina was Bush's fault. 9/11 was Bush's fault. Poor Black kids killing each other in the ghetto is Bush's fault. Little girls being raped by their uncle is Bush's fault. Miners dying in Utah is Bush's fault. Phoenix, AZ being hot as hell in the summer is Bush's fault. Etc., etc., etc...........EVERYTHING IS BUSH'S FAULT!!!

Well everything except the economy still being strong, the U.S. homeland not being hit by the Jihadis since 9/11, gas prices around $2.65/gallon, etc., etc., etc..........Of course, nothing good could be Bush's fault.**

Hey Libby Man, I bust Bush's balls on a lot of stuff.

But it's awfully hard to blame EVERYTHING on him.

You want to point out the economy, fine........Come back when Hillary is Prez and we'll compare.

If she avoids a recession I'll eat a ton of crow.

But if she has one I'm sure you'll be able to blame Bush for that too.

Katrina - Was apparently Ray Nagin and Mary Landrieu's fault.

    9/11 - Bill Clinton's Fault

Abu Ghraib - Charles Graner & Lynndie England's fault.

No Weapon's of Mass Destuction - The whole world thought Saddam had them, so not Bushie's fault.

Not enough troops in Iraq - General Tommy Franks' fault.

Minnesota Bridge Collapse - Democratic Congress' fault. (for not rubber stamping his latest budget)

When asked by reporters in 2004 if he'd made any mistakes, he couldn't think of any.

Lets go over that list Libby:

Katrina = Mother Nature's fault....Also the fault of the welfare system of tying the people to New Orleans.

9/11 = Reagan, Bush I, Clinton and Bush II fault........As well as the entire nation's for being so lax after the Soviets fell. Should have never cut back the military or intelligence system.

Abu Ghraib (throw in Gitmo) = Neither bother me at all........Next.

Not enough troops = back to after the Soviets fell.....We should have never drawn our force structure down (I was in the AF and watched it happen). Plus Bush should have been willing to crush the Iraqis instead of going soft. The problem wasn't fire power it was will power...It didn't help that 1/2 the country wanted the effort to fail no matter what either.

Minny bridge = This is a reach. There are potholes in my neighborhood. I suppose this is Bush's fault as well?

Not admitting mistakes = Why would he give the jackals in the media fodder to blast him with 24/7? He's screwed up plenty. Just as every prez has. Name me another who's come out in the press and admitted his mistakes.

I'm going to post another anti-Bush quote tomorrow. So you'll have another chance to go after him.......Enjoy
