THE U.S. SHOULD HAVE A BAN ON ALL TRAVEL AND IMMIGRATION INTO THE COUNTRY FOR ANYONE WITH A COMMUNICABLE DISEASE!

Why in the world should we allow people to enter our country to infect the American populace? And why should we be forced to pay for their healthcare when they show up in our emergency rooms, and somehow get government-paid health benefits?

Seems to me these two questions should be common-sense concerns for every American...Which is exactly why Sen. Heinz and his band of idiotic brethren don't get it.**

The price of oil dropped $17/barrel within three days of Bush ending the executive ban. It's hard to believe the cost wouldn't drop significantly more if congress dropped its ban. Since oil trumps everything else in the economy it's also logical to assume a combined executive and congressional push for increased U.S. drilling would do wonders for the economy as a whole....But San Fran Nan won't have any of this. One, it would upset her environMENTAList pals. Two, she's rather see Americans suffer at the pump than allow the economy to improve while Bush is in office.

FDR ordered the production of the atomic bomb, an impossible task. It was done in five years...JFK ordered the nation to put a man on the moon, an impossible task. This is what great leaders can accomplish in America, because the American people with a great objective in mind can do anything. If we had a leader who ordered America to become independent from foreign energy sources in 10 years, and to get it done in an environmentally clean way, we could get it done (oil, coal, nuclear, wind, solar, etc)....The impossible task is always possible in this great land. It is such a belief and ability to get the job done that has made this the greatest country on Earth.

Maybe Barack knows he's not the leader to get such a project done, though. Nah, he's much to arrogant to think he'd be the problem........Seems to me Obama doesn't believe in America or the American people to get it done.
