- Answer to a question from CNN's Wolf Blitzer, who asked if she'd allow the House to vote on ending the congressional ban on offshore drilling for oil.

**"I have no plans to do so."...She should have just said: FUCK THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND THEIR LUSTFUL THIRST FOR OIL!! WE WILL NOT DRILL FOR OIL AS LONG AS I AM QUEEN OF THE HOUSE!!

What's really sickening is she refuses to even let the House vote on such a measure. And her reason for not allowing the matter to come to a vote is because she knows it would pass by a wide marging. Even many of her comrades with (D)-behind-their-name would vote for it.

The price of oil dropped $17/barrel within three days of Bush ending the executive ban. It's hard to believe the cost wouldn't drop significantly more if congress dropped its ban. Since oil trumps everything else in the economy it's also logical to assume a combined executive and congressional push for increased U.S. drilling would do wonders for the economy as a whole....But San Fran Nan won't have any of this. One, it would upset her environMENTAList pals. Two, she's rather see Americans suffer at the pump than allow the economy to improve while Bush is in office.
