**A little late Prez! The Iranian people could have used a full helping of American support a week ago. Also, a little WEAK!...He didn't have to say much. Something like: 'The American people stand behind and support the rights of all people to live under the rule of a free democracy. As such, America stands behind the IRANIAN PEOPLE and their desire to live under the rule of a free democracy.'

Or maybe he could have said something even more insightful; something a much stronger Democrat president once said: "Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty." - John F. Kennedy

Nah! That would never do for Barack. Heaven forbid he upset the Iranian tyrants. Tyrants who already hate the U.S., and call for its downfall on a regular basis...Heaven forbid the U.S. be seen as a nation supporting the Iranian people at the risk of upsetting our fine relationship with the leaders who have had their boot on the throat of these people for decades.

That said, what are we to expect from a man who believes there is a 'universal right to assembly and free speech'? The world would be a great place if this were true. Unfortunately, much of the world is horrific, because there is no such understanding or acceptance of "rights"...If Obama believes they should be "universal", which he should, then he needs to start supporting the PEOPLE in countries who don't offer these "rights" instead of their masters who squash their "rights."**

**Says the guy who's taken over the automobile and banking industries, and is in the process of taking control of the health care industry...Sounds just like a "free market" type of guy to me.

More like an 'Obamunist' type of guy.**

"Congress gave broad authority to the administration to use TARP funds and specifically authorized them to be used with respect to the automobile companies." [June 2009]

**Lets get an opinion from someone who's a much better authority on this matter:

So, did House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D - Maryland) mean what he said in March or in June? Or does he ever really mean what he says?

FYI: In case you didn't know, the 'D' may stand for Democrat, but it could just as easily mean 'duplicitous.'**

"A [health care] bill will not come out of the House without a public option."

- A "public option" = the option for all Americans to enter a government health plan.

**Democrats are drooling at the thought of having a health care plan for every American. Sadly, their reasoning has nothing to do with care or cost...It has to do with power; power which will tie the American people to their master's good will when it comes to their health.

That said, I'm glad to see the A.M.A has finally gotten off its ass and looks like it understands what is going to happen if the Democrats get their way.

“The A.M.A. does not believe that creating a public health insurance option for non-disabled individuals under age 65 is the best way to expand health insurance coverage and lower costs. The introduction of a new public plan threatens to restrict patient choice by driving out private insurers, which currently provide coverage for nearly 70 percent of Americans.” - American Medical Association

Sadly, it may be too late...Too late as in: This matter was sealed when the Democrats won control of both houses of Congress as well as the Presidency.**

**I'm not a Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, or any other recognized religion, and have all kinds of difficulty believing in messiahs of any kind...I am not certain what I believe in, but I tend to think there is a higher power. What that power is is a mystery, but I can tell you one thing for certain: Barack Obama isn't a god of any sort, nor is he a messiah.

That said, it's interesting how the anti-religious Left has taken Obama as their higher power. Maybe Barack's proving the old saying to be true:

'Those who don't believe in god don't believe in nothing; they believe in anything.'

Obama is their 'anything.'**

**Subtle, but sickening. And I don't think for a minute he did it accidentally. Watch the video again, he not only bows but closes his eyes reverentially...Not that it would be any better if it was an accident, because if it wasn't on purpose it was a reflexive act of bowing to 'the great man.'

**Obama was more than happy to receive the book Chavez gave him at their first meeting, 'Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent', by Eduardo Galeano...I have little doubt Barack will be thrilled to receive his next gift from the 'Latin American Lenin' as well.

The most brutal thing about these gifts is Obama's probably already read, enjoyed, and learned much from both books.**
