"The administration clearly believes it does have the authority to use some of the remaining TARP funds for the automobile industry...I DON'T KNOW TECHNICALLY WHERE THAT AUTHORITY WOULD BE." - House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D - Maryland) [March 2009]
So, did House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D - Maryland) mean what he said in March or in June? Or does he ever really mean what he says?
FYI: In case you didn't know, the 'D' may stand for Democrat, but it could just as easily mean 'duplicitous.'**
