Alejandrina Cabrera is trying to get on the ballot to run for the city council in San Luis, Arizona.  Her English is poor at best...Most states, including Arizona, require public officials to speak, read and write in English.  Hengl is arguing the state "doesn't specify levels of English."

What a joke!  By this logic would being able to say "yes" and "no" be good enough to qualify as a reasonable level of English?  Logic says "no", but the illogic of the Left probably says "si".

This woman's lack of English would force the city council to bring in interpreters to make sure she could perform her duties, which would be wasteful to what is surely a cash-strapped city, and even worse bring the body's work to a standstill...Or maybe she'd fight for a new requirement:  for everyone else to learn Spanish to accommodate her personal needs.

Anyone doubt this could happen on our way towards creating a modern-day Tower of Babylon?  Of course you don't.

So, the 'born this way' crowd is pissed at this Try-Sexual (she'll try anything), because they don't like her claim to be able to flip in and out of homo/heterosexuality...Personally, I have no problem with her claim, nor with the 'born this ways'.

I'm sure there is a percentage of the population which is born gay (probably around 5%).  I'm also sure there's a percentage of the population which chooses to be gay (probably higher than the 5% of true gays) because it's the 'in thing' to be gay (or Bi or Try), or because of bad hetero experiences...Especially now that much of the stigma of being gay has gone away.

As for Nixon, maybe she was 'born to be Try-Sexual'...And it'll be interesting to see what she tries next.

I truly hope you didn't sit through tonight's State of the Union Address.  It was full of the usual BS, but most important, he said nothing new...So, I figured we may as well dig out an oldie-but-goodie from SOTU's past.

How's that "(cutting) the deficit in half" thing working out, America?

Forget the 'man-behind-the-curtain' blowing smoke (literally).  Truthfully answer the question...How well is Obama doing at cutting the deficit?  Forget "in half"; how about at all? 

How are any of his promises, for that matter?  Everything sucks:  Unemployment is up, the cost of food and gas is up, home foreclosures are up, the National Debt is way up.  Everyone is hurting...Well, everyone except Obama's pals on Wall St.  Last I checked Wall St. is recovering nicely, which is great, but it is something every Average Joe/Jane American should wonder about:  Why is Wall St. doing better while the rest of us aren't?

Answer:  Follow the money!  You shouldn't be surprised to find much of it landing in Obama's re-election coffers.

I'm betting he's not into making people have and show "license(s)", or any other kind of ID, proving a person has been properly "vetted" to vote, however...Heaven forbid we ask people to perform such a difficult task.  Such a racist task at that.

Forget having a "license" to vote, how about a "license" to prove a person is properly "vetted" in meeting the simple requirements to run for elections, for those with proper ID's to vote on?  Nah.  That's too much, as well.

This is so great; a three-way of Liberal Jackassery.

First you have the moronic Libby teachers who thought it would be a good idea to throw in a little racial-injustice with their math assignments.  I'm assuming they feel crunched for time and figured it would be a good use of time to combine 'Propaganda 101' with 'Propaganda 102'...I wonder how many of the kiddies got '8' and '16'? Having dealt with public schools I doubt it was many.

Second, you know the Libby teacher's union is going to have the teacher's backs...That said, I'm assuming the teachers are black or Hispanic, because if they were white even the union wouldn't go that far.

Third, gotta love the Libby NAACP jumping in wanting a little payback.  Next they need to bring in Jesse Jackson and 'Not-Fat-Anymore' (but still plenty stupid) Al Sharpton.  We need marching in the streets...Again, I'm assuming the teachers aren't white, because if they were this would be headline news instead of just stuff you get if you read Pero's blogs.

Here's hoping everyone gets the boot; the teachers, the union leaders, and the race-baiting clowns.  Not fired by the specific entities listed above, however...Here's hoping they all get tossed on their sorry arses by the citizens who are sick of the pathetic race-pandering and piss-poor education their kids receive on a daily basis at the hands of, and due to the polices of, the specific entities listed above.

*Did you notice I put '8' and '16' instead of '7' and '14'?...If you did, good on ya.  You passed the test.  If you didn't, you need to pay more attention.  If you graduated from public school in the past couple decades, however, you get a passing grade because it's not nice to fail people :) - sort of.

Nothing particularly 'Liberal' or 'Jackass' in those statements, but that's not why I posted it...I posted it for the reactions Obama got.

Four years ago every part of this speech would have been followed by rauchus clapping and cheering, screaming for joy, and maybe even a few people crying or feignting due to being near the greatness that was Barack Obama...Today it's followed by light clapping and laughter.

Even the kids know Obama is a farce!

This doesn't mean he won't be reelected, but it does highlight that the American people have his number, and they aren't impressed.
