Democrat Power Grabbers

"I'm not hard and fast on $250,000...Quite frankly, it could be somewhat lower than that." - Sen. Tom Harkin (Iowa)

"You could go lower, too - why not $200,000." - Sen. Diane Feinstein (CA)

"I don't think there's any magic number, whether it's $250,000, $200,000 or $225,000." - Sen. Byron Dorgan (North Dakota)

- Comments about raising taxes on those lower than Obama's supposed threshold for being rich.

"We're not satisfied with everything we've done [in Congress]. The way to cure that is to give us more authority and more ability." - Rep. Barney Frank (Mass.)

**You bet your 'you-know-what' these clowns want more power; more power to impose more of themselves on your life and take more of your hard-earned money in the process.

Do yourself a favor and make sure you show up on Election Day to drum these nuts and all their 'friends-with-(D)-after-their-name' out of office. It might also be advantageous to the country if you can find a way to explain the situation to your apathetic family and friends...Or don't. You always have the option of sitting on your thumbs and doing nothing.

But be forewarned, if the Democrats remain in control of Congress after this election cycle you can pretty much count on Barney Frank's request coming true...You can also bet your 'you-know-what' the Democrats will find a way to increase your tax rate; regardless of if you make $250,000, $225,000, $200,000 or significanly less.**

Rep. Barney Frank (D'u' - Mass)

"I want at least two years with President Obama and a solidly Democratic Senate so that we can get the federal government back in the housing business."

**Barney must be the one person in America who didn't get the memo: Our current recession was brought on by a housing boom/bust; a boom/bust created in large part by Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae...Federal government housing entitites! Entities which are still the dominant player in U.S. housing.

Yet the Democrats wonder why the American people are so sceptical of their REAL intentions.**

'Truth Teller' & 'Liar'

"I think if we get a good public option, it would lead to single payer and that's the best way to reach single payer...I think the best way we're gonna get single payer, the only way, is to have a public option and demonstrate its strength and power." - Rep. Barney Frank (D - Massachusetts)

"What are not legitimate concerns are those being put forward claiming a public option is somehow a Trojan horse for a single-payer system...So, when you hear the naysayers claim that I'm trying to bring about government -run health care, know this - they are not telling the truth." - Prez. Barack Obama

**According to Obama's statement, Barney Frank is "not telling the truth." I beg to differ.

Frank may be a lowlife scumbag, but he generally says what he means and means what he says. The same can hardly ever be said for Obama, who tends to say what his audience wants to hear, and aims to get to his means without having to say it...So, which of these POS's do you think is the 'Truth Teller?' Which is the 'Liar?'

Regardless of your answer, know one thing: BOTH are aiming to "bring about government-run health care." One's just willing to say it out loud.**

Rep. Barney Frank (D'u' - Mass)

“Government doesn’t have to interfere with the free enterprise system, but we can work along with it to reduce inequality.”

**How, if I may ask, is the government going to "work along with," but not "interfere with" free enterprise to reduce inequality?

Just a question, because the actual case always ends up being that the government does much to "interfere with" business any time it pretends to "work along with" it.**

Rep. Barney Frank (D'u' - Mass)

“The policy [for the White House after Katrina], I think, is ethnic cleansing by inaction.”

**Wow, that's a harsh statement, and is way over the top........Even for the Purple Normo Dinosaur who formerly had a gay prostitution ring run out of his congressional office.**
