Barack Obama (Pseudo-Historian)

"...that this nation, shall have a new birth of freedom."

- Part of Obama's reading of the Gettysburg Address for an upcoming documentary on the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's classic speech.

Seems pretty harmless, right?  It does if you're unfamiliar with the speech.

The actual words the Great Emancipator used were:  "...that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom."

For whatever reason, Obama chose to take a variation on the REAL speech.

There are multiple copies of the famous speech, and there is one in particular which doesn't have the words "under God" - the Nicolay Copy, believed to be Lincoln's original text...But when he actually gave the speech Lincoln absolutely included "under God."

Anyone care to speculate why Obama felt the need to go with an obscure text instead of the REAL speech?  Anyone care to give a reason why our current president thought it would be a good idea to change Lincoln's REAL speech to fit the way he thinks it should have been done?

I have no doubt about his reasoning.  It's the same reason he returned the 'Churchill Bust' to the Brits; the same reason he goes out of his way to humiliate our allies; the same reason he goes out of his way to pander to our enemies:  Barack Obama is embarrassed by the history of the United States...Over time, the people of the United States will feel the same way about Barack Obama - after suffering through the hardship his policies cause them and they have to repent for having elected him twice.

Rep. Jared Polis (D - Colorado)

"American citizens are essentially being forced to pay for the health care costs of people who are here illegally every day, until we pass comprehensive immigration reform...We’re wondering why rates are going up...It’s no surprise. When somebody doesn’t have insurance, their costs are shifted onto other people that do."

I love it!  Instead of solving the problem of illegal immigrants overrunning our health care system by eliminating illegal immigration, this clown is not only trying to sell that ObamaCare can work, he's selling that it will work only if we find a way to give these illegal immigrants free health care...Because you can bet your last dollar most of the illegals will go straight to the freebie - excuse me, 'subsidy' - if given the opportunity.  I see it everyday in my office.  Not all, but a vast majority.

Let me make sure I have this correct:  The Democrats passed ObamaCare in an attempt to give health insurance to 50 million Americans - the alleged reason, anyway.  But it's going to take another 15-20 million illegal immigrants to be regularized to get ObamaCare going?

Again, genius!  I totally see how the calculus works on this problem.

Genius!, if the goal is to kill the American health care system - along with many other American systems.  Including America as a whole...Which very well may be the goal.

And don't for one minute forget every time you hear "comprehensive immigration reform" what you are hearing is AMNESTY WITHOUT LEGITIMATE BORDER SECURITY by another name...Regardless of who you hear it from - Democrats or Republicans.

Any politician who claims otherwise is lying...They may as well be going all Barack Obama, telling you:  'If you like your country, you can keep your country.'

Nancy Pelosi (Queen of the Pinocchios)

- Tweet Nancy put out commenting on the success of the ObamaCare signups...It's safe to assume her "≈1m" term means '1 million.'

She had to know she was lying, right?  The House Minority Leader, a leader of the Democrat Party, one of the biggest proponents and supporters of ObamaCare had to know her numbers were BS-in-the-extreme, right?

Today the HHS announced around 110,000 people have signed up for ObamaCare.  Not 1,000,000; not even 500,000...Not even 111,000, for heaven's sake.

But what do we expect from the asshat who had the gall to shout to the ends of the earth:  "[W]e have to pass the bill so that you can find out what's in it."

Oh, she knew what was in it; now the American people are finding out, as well...And the best part is the website is the least of the problems with ObamaCare; as the American people will continue finding out.

Here's hoping the Republicans let it all play out.  Let Nancy and the rest of the Pinocchio's run with it; let them run wild...At some point the American people will fully realize how much they've been screwed.  And when they do, there will be some serious payback - which may not be pretty - which may not even be peaceful.

An honest Lefty indeed!  One who doesn't hide the fact he wants to do away with our traditional system of "governance."

The question is why?  Why do these Lefty's want to get rid of our constitution; The Constitution?

The answer is simple.  The U.S. Constitution was designed to put the brakes on government.  For the people to control the government - instead of vice verse, and for the state governments to have much more power than modern-day central-planning-authoritarians would like them to have.

I wonder if he would feel the same about Righty's who would like to create a new constitution in order to design the country the way they want it?  For some reason I'm pretty sure he doesn't like that idea...The funny thing is he's crazy if he thinks the Left will control the government forever, and when they lose it you can bet your life he and his Lefty pals will be screaming for the government to have less power.  Remember how much they cried about the abuses of the Right during the Bush years?

Such was the genius of the Founding Fathers - they didn't want anyone or any group to have too much control...Which is why they created a system where the people are entrusted to hold back the crazy-train tendencies of their leaders.

Now, if only the people would get off their keisters and do their job - against both Republicans and Democrats.

"What we said was you could keep it if it hasn't changed since the law was passed."

- "it" = "your health-care plan."

Obama is completely out of control on this matter, and I can't believe he continues to dig deeper and deeper.

On at least 29 occasions - all can be found on a simple YouTube search - he stated things quite a bit differently than "if it hasn't changed since the law was passed."

"If you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period." - The Pinocchio King

No ifs ands or buts in that statement.  In fact, he went so far as to add the "period."

Yet Obama has so little regard for the sense of the American people he comes out day after day with new lies; lies denying his previous lies.

Ah, what's the big deal; less than 4,000,000 Americans have lost their "health-care plan" due to ObamaCare...Less than 4,000,000 as of today!  That number will continue to grow.  Probably much larger once the employer mandate takes effect.

And that doesn't even include the number of Americans who get to keep their plan, but are having to pay much higher premiums...At least the boys and granny's get free birth control, though.

Congratulations, Barack.  I believe you.  I believe you knew exactly how this was going to go down - and you don't give a damn how many middle-class saps get hurt by the matter...Luckily, much of the middle-class votes Democrat and gets to suffer with the rest of us.

"I do consider the United States of America an Islamic country with an Islamically compliant constitution.  Move On!"

About 1% of the American population follows Islam.  About 75% of the American people are Christian.  By any standard - other than Liberal lunacy - America is a Christian nation; and most definitely is not an "Islamic country"...Hell, more Americans believe in Big Foot (14%) and aliens (29%) than believe in Islam.

As far as the U.S having "an Islamically compliant constitution," that's a total joke.  Not because of any issues with the U.S...The problem is Islam; which is incompatible with any constitution, because Islam is only compatible with absolute authoritarianism - which by definition isn't constitutional.

Islam = 'Submission,' and submission can't in any way be "compliant" with even the most harsh constitutional principles - let alone, principles of liberty and freedom.

Keep this in mind when you hear Islamic propagandists, and Liberal yoyo's, spreading lies about the Religion of Pieces.
