And sadly, things aren't going to get any better in Obama's next four years (or longer if he's succeeded by another Democrat), because the problem with the country isn't too little government or Liberalism. The problem is too much government and Liberalism...Obama refuses to acknowledge this, so the American people - black, white and otherwise - are going to keep suffering; 'doing worse' as a whole.

I've often said the U.S. won't truly recover until it hits bottom.  No one knows exactly where the bottom is, but Obama is getting us there quicker than anyone else ever could...Everyone is suffering, and I'm not here to deny blacks are suffering the most.

Any chance these suffering blacks will recognize the failure that is Barack Obama?  Nah...Any chance these same suffering blacks ditch the Democrat Party?  Nah.

New York NAACP & Hispanic Federation

"This sweeping regulation will no doubt burden and disproportionately impact minority-owned businesses at a time when these businesses can least afford it."

- Statement against New York City's plan to limit the size of sugary drinks.

That's the problem with a government entity busting chops over sugary drinks?!?!  Because it is racist?

What about concerns of government overreach?  Idiotic overreach at that?

Nah.  These 'minority' organizations are all about huge government...But only when government is redistributing from the 'majority' to the 'minority', not when the minority might be "burdened."

What a disgrace.  But don't be surprised if these groups somehow get a waiver for "minority-owned businesses."

Anonymous Senior Defense Official (Gutless Leaker)

"This policy change will initiate a process whereby the services will develop plans to implement this decision, which was made by the secretary of defense upon the recommendation of the Joint Chiefs of Staff."

- The "policy change" is allowing women in combat roles in the U.S. military.

I served with women in the Air Force, and many were fine airmen.  But I'm not going to lie, I don't know a single male I served with who wasn't bothered by the fact the women had easier physical standards, and weren't required to be as combat ready as we were...It sure as hell bothered me.

These are the two problems.

1.  I have no problem with women in the military if they can meet the same physical standards as their male counterparts - please tell me we aren't going to lessen the standards for the men.

2.  I have no problem with women in the military as long as they have the same expectations of being combat ready, effective and placeable as their male counterparts - 100% the same!

Women in the military shouldn't have the 'option' of fighting alongside their male peers, they should have an obligation to do so - from the safest stateside base, to the most dangerous reconnaissance and forward fighting units.

We only have 1.4 million active duty troops, and 14% of these are women.  We can't afford for such a large portion of our troops to be anything less than ready, willing and able to do perform whatever role they are called on to perform...Either that or they should get out.  That goes for the males, as well, by the way.

Chris 'The Thrill Seeker' Matthews

Obama is great at giving speeches.  He has perfect cadence, pitch and emotion.  But the content of his speeches are vapid, with no substance of note.  They are performances of the first order; hardly Lincolnesque, because Lincoln's speeches were brilliant in their content...I'm sure Liberals will argue with this.  The way to prove it is to read Obama's speeches.  They are nothing without his performance; because they are much ado about nothing in the first place.

Also, Obama would be better off trying to be a good president in his own right, rather than attempting to recreate the magic of pasts president...This he cannot do, as well either, because it goes back to content:  Lincoln was a great leader and a uniter.  Obama is a great campaigner and a divider.

These Liberal idiots don't do Obama any favors comparing him to Lincoln.  If anything, it shows how small Obama is in comparison to previous presidents...Regardless of how desperately clowns like Chris Matthews want to put him on Mount Rushmore - the equivalent of giving him a Nobel Peace Prize before doing anything.

Lets see, Reagan has been dead for eight years, hasn't been President for 26-years, and the law I'm assuming she's referring to was passed 45-years ago (1967, Lanterman-Petris-Short Act, when he was Governor of California).

Yet she believes it is his fault we have so many nutters running around the country?  Really?

It couldn't be the fact the country as a whole is a basket-case?  A country where morals have been turned upside-down at best, disregarded as a whole at worst?  A country where children are being raised by single parents - or two parents of the same gender?  A country on the path to legalizing marijuana, and who-knows-what-else for recreational use?  A country where children are taught they are brilliant and adults are 'know nothings'? 

In other words, the nation's mental health problems couldn't possibly be a result of the fact that much of the country is filled with such narcissistic beliefs that nothing matters except what they think matters?  A nation of self-absorbed sociopaths.

Nah!  The insane culture we have is Ronald Reagan's fault!

Barack 'The Demagogue' Obama

"My understanding is the vice president's going to provide a range of steps that we can take to reduce gun violence...Some of them will require legislation, some of them I can accomplish through executive action."

America doesn't need more laws, and the absolute last thing we need is laws created through executive fiat - with the tool of the Executive Order.

There are plenty of laws against guns.  There are plenty of laws against violence of all kinds, for that matter.  What is needed is exactly what Obama said:  We need "executive action."

"Action" such as cleaning the streets of criminals - gangbangers, white supremacists, rapists, all of them.  "Action" such as reducing illegal immigrants.  "Action" such as finding a way to get the American worker back in a job so he feels worthy as a human being and is able to feed his family without committing crime to do so - instead of punishing him by punishing his boss...There are hundred of things the president can do to help solve the problems of guns violence, and violence of all kinds.

But Obama doesn't really care about guns or violence, because if he did he'd use the force of his office to act on the laws already in place.  He'd also get his Justice Department to prosecute these same laws...But we all know this isn't going to happen.  It's too hard to take on the tough task, so instead Obama wants to do the easier task - punish law abiding citizens by restricting their rights.

Just keep in mind, this gun-grabbing isn't about crime, it's about power!  This is what Obama craves more than anything, and he is simply using this latest 'crisis' as a means to build on his strange brand of demagogic leadership.

Could it be Obama realizes these top positions are far too important to be willy-nilly handing them out to various minorities and genders?

Jack Lew (Treasury), Chuck Hagel (Sec. Def), John Kerry (Sec. State)...Uh, I guess Obama has no idea how important these positions are.

So, maybe the National Oraganization for (Cranky) Women's question is legit...Maybe he's a closet sexist - and a racist.

Barack Obama (History Maker)

Just once I wish Obama would tell the American people the truth, instead of making up his own truths under the assumption the American people are either too stupid or lazy to know any better.

Not only did Obama not "cut spending over a trillion dollars in 2011," he increased spending over $140 billion in 2011.

There is no doubt Obama knows this.  There is no doubt most Americans don't know this.  And most importantly, because history tends to give a preview of future events there is no doubt Obama will continue his two-term spending spree.
