U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton

"By enforcing this statute [AZ SB1070], Arizona would impose a 'distinct, unusual and extraordinary' burden on legal resident aliens that only the federal government has the authority to impose."

- Statement in her ruling to stop the implementation of Arizona's new immigration law until it is tried in a higher court.

**WHAT A SAD JOKE! The only thing "distinct, unusual and extraordinary" about this law is Arizona's willingness to execute federal immigration law...Heaven knows our federal government isn't, and has zero intention of ever doing so. Screw the states! Screw the American people!

This battle is nowhere near over, however, because regardless of which side won the loser was going to push it to the next court...So onward it goes.

Just for kicks, I would like you to visit THIS SITE...For even more fun, visit THIS SITE, as well, to read an interesting memo from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.**

Ed Schultz (MSNBC Host)

"I took my radio show on the road, I did town halls, talked to people…and President Obama, you don’t come to Ed - he goes to Bret Baier on Fox News, in my time slot. Now, my show’s going to be ok, but if you were in my position, would you say, ‘what’s that all about?’ Loyalty.”

**Hey Ed, quit crying. You should know Obama's a big ol' narcissist, and even though he loves you and your looney kind he has no desire to go on a show no one is watching...Which is the only reason he went on Fox; he knows people are watching that channel.**

Majority Leader Harry Reid (Senate Triumvire)

"We're going to have a public option. It's just a question of when."

**No, this wasn't a statement made during the health care debate; it was made last week...I bet you thought the "public option" was dead? Nah. The Democrats simply plan on pushing it through their various health care regulatory schemes instead of making it part of the legislative bill itself.

And don't kid yourself into thinking it's going to be 'optional.' If the Democrats have their way it will be 'mandatory' for all of us.

This comment may not have been his most moronic last week, however...Here's another:

"Social Security is the most successful social program in the history of the world."

I guess everything is relative, and depending on how you relate to things Harry may be correct...I tend to think putting an economic noose around the nation's neck (especially that of our children and grandchildren) isn't "successful," but maybe it's must me.

Just for kicks, lets look at the unfunded liability we have with Social Security and its equally evil sisters:

Social Security = $14.4 trillion in unfunded liability!
The Prescription Drug Program = $14.4 trillion in unfunded liability!
Medicare = $76 trillion in unfunded liability!
OVER $100 TRILLION IN UNFUNDED LIABILITY FOR THESE THREE PROGRAMS ALONE!

Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just not enlightened enough to understand Reid's definition of "successful": 'Economically crushing our kids and grandkids, and eventually bankrupting the nation'...I guess I'll never be smart enough to understand Liberal insanity. Thankfully.

Just imagine the numbers when ObamaCare comes on line.**

Matthew Rothschild (Editor of 'The Progressive')

"I don't believe in patriotism. You can call me unpatriotic if you'd like, but really I'm anti-patriotic. I've been studying fascism lately, and there is one inescapable fact about it: Nationalism is the egg that hatches fascism. And patriotism is but the father of nationalism. Patriotism is not something to play with. It's highly toxic."

**Why did Matt go through all the long-winded crapola when trying to tell the world what he is? Three simple words would have stated exactly what he is and how he feels about America...He should have simply said: 'I'M A LIBERAL!!'

Nothing more. Nothing less. Nothing special. Nothing exceptional...Just a typical Liberal.**

Rita Vollmer (Assistant Public Affairs Officer Shasta-Trinity National Forest)

"On Friday July 9, 2010 a marijuana eradication operation was conducted on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest in Trinity County, south of Hayfork, by law enforcement agents from the U.S. Forest Service, Trinity County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force and the California Department of Justice, Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement. During the raid, a U.S. Forest Service K-9 team located Gauldry Almonte-Hernandez, a displaced foreign traveler from Michoacán Mexico, who had tried to flee the area and hide while officers were performing entry into the marijuana garden."

- Statement about a recent pot bust.

**Forget the pot. Forget the ridiculus titles and amount agencies in this 'eradication op'...Put your arms around the important phrase in this quote. Did you figure it out?

"a displaced foreign traveler."

Heaven forbid someone in the government call a spade-a-spade, and say the perp is an illegal alien...I think a couple of blog commenters put it best:

"This is a bald, craven, in-your-face torsioning of the English language." - Dernon Ruton

"It all makes perfect sense if you live in bizarro world...I guess he was a tourist that got lost and had to resort to pot farming in order to make a living until he saved enough to go home." - Matman

Equally pathetic, this one is just as true:

"10 years in club fed is better than 10 years starving in Mexico...bet he thinks he won the lotto." - Seann Fox**

Democrat Power Grabbers

"I'm not hard and fast on $250,000...Quite frankly, it could be somewhat lower than that." - Sen. Tom Harkin (Iowa)

"You could go lower, too - why not $200,000." - Sen. Diane Feinstein (CA)

"I don't think there's any magic number, whether it's $250,000, $200,000 or $225,000." - Sen. Byron Dorgan (North Dakota)

- Comments about raising taxes on those lower than Obama's supposed threshold for being rich.

"We're not satisfied with everything we've done [in Congress]. The way to cure that is to give us more authority and more ability." - Rep. Barney Frank (Mass.)

**You bet your 'you-know-what' these clowns want more power; more power to impose more of themselves on your life and take more of your hard-earned money in the process.

Do yourself a favor and make sure you show up on Election Day to drum these nuts and all their 'friends-with-(D)-after-their-name' out of office. It might also be advantageous to the country if you can find a way to explain the situation to your apathetic family and friends...Or don't. You always have the option of sitting on your thumbs and doing nothing.

But be forewarned, if the Democrats remain in control of Congress after this election cycle you can pretty much count on Barney Frank's request coming true...You can also bet your 'you-know-what' the Democrats will find a way to increase your tax rate; regardless of if you make $250,000, $225,000, $200,000 or significanly less.**

Prince Chuck of England (Liberal Extraordinaire)

"The inconvenient truth is that we share this planet with the rest of creation for a very good reason - and that is, we cannot exist on our own without the intricately balanced web of life around us. Islam has always taught this and to ignore that lesson is to default on our contract with creation."

**Gotta love the Prince getting a Libby double-bonus: Going enviro and pimping Islam in the same breath is no easy task.

My favorite part is the "Islam has always taught this..." BS. The only thing Islam has taught is conquest and destruction. Chucky can spin it any way he wishes, but there's no way he can sell it that Muslims are interested in the "intricately balanced web of life." Hell, they can barely live with the rest of humanity, let alone be true stalwarts of the globe.**

Dave Matthews (Sing-Song Jackass)

"My carbon footprint, I think I can say confidently is much bigger than most people's because I travel in a bus...What I try and do is try and, with the knowledge that I have, is offset my contributions to [carbon emissions]. I think people that don't move around as much as me can take a bike when it's a nice day."

- FYI: Matthews makes about $20 million per year, and is worth around $250 million.

**'I'm a high and mighty elitist, so I need to use lots of fuel, but the rest of you little people who aren't as important or rich as I am should ride a bike, walk, hop on a pogo-stick, etc., to work.'

I love Matthews' quote, because it is a perfect example of Liberals in action...What's most humorous to me is they pretend to be for the common man, but in reality do nothing but look down on anyone who's at a lower station than they are. This doesn't keep them from claiming they are trying to save those below them or using them as 'useful idiots,' however .

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Laura Ingraham put it best: "Shut Up and Sing!"**
