"To help American families meet their responsibilities at work and at home, I've championed legislation to expand after school programs, make quality childcare and respite care more available and affordable. I've also co-sponsored The Healthy Families Act to allow workers paid time off when they are sick or need to take their kids to a doctor."**Oh, how beautiful
Liberalville (a region in the Utopian States of America) sounds.........The operative words are "utopian" and "sounds."
In Hillaryville, how are businesses going to pay for the extra cost of covering the workload of those with even more time off? How are they going to pay for mandatory "paid time off" along with the cost of new employees to cover for those taking the extra time off?
It doesn't take much economic genius to see the answer will be an increase in the cost of goods and services, because business will not absorb the cost on its own. It will pass on the cost to the consumer. Which will do terrible damage to the U.S. economy (the United States, not the Utopian States.)
Also, last I checked such government interference in private business was better known as Socialism or Communism........Hmm.
But it sure sounds nice, doesn't it?**
