People have asked me what I think about the Brits
voting to leave the E.U. My answer is pretty straight forward: Good for the Brits! They are going to have some short-term suffering as a result of their decision, but they are likely going to suffer less than what the rest of the E.U. will be suffering down the road. Also, I am
underwhelmed by its implications for the U.S. Especially after the ‘markets’ get over their
little fit; and they will get over it.
There are many technical, emotional, rational &
irrational reasons why the Brits voted to leave, and all of them have merit…In
an attempt at brevity, I will list four thoughts on Brexit.
1. There is
no doubt the people of the West are pissed off - not just the Brits...There
will be many other countries who look to split from the E.U. in the coming
years - all of the PIGS (Portugal, Italy, Greece, Spain), France, the
Netherlands, etc.
Globalism is running its course and nationalism is making
a return. Especially when it comes to mass immigration, central planning, insane regulations and monetary policy...And please, don't let the elites (Lefties, MSM, Big $$$$, etc) succeed
in scaring you into think this is a bad thing.
Either way, the E.U. is on its way out – the Brits were just the smart
ones to jump ship first.

2. Since the
time of William the Conqueror (1066) the Brits have rarely been on the wrong
side of history...I have every reason to believe they will be correct on this one as well. The reasoning may not always have made sense
at the time of their decisions, but in most cases they made the right
decisions. Maybe it was luck, who knows. But if I'm ever going to
bet on the correct decisions of any nation, it will always be on those of
Brits.
The Brits have not declared war on Europe. Europe will not stop trading with the U.K. Etc., etc., etc...The U.K. is still one of the largest economies in the world - the E.U. still needs customer. They also have the largest military in Europe and are part of NATO. And the British banking sector isn't going anywhere.

3. Make no
mistake, the U.S. is in the middle of its own 'Brexit moment.' Our
political establishment and elites are being challenged like never before by
the common people. Many have pointed to Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders
as perfect examples of 'the people's' anger with our leaders. This is
correct.
Thankfully, Bernie is barely going to be a historical
asterisk. Unfortunately, Trump is a
flawed man, and may prove to be nothing more than another step towards an
upheaval in the U.S. (win or lose)...Trump may or may not be the leader to help
us turn the corner as a nation - his personal flaws may be too great. But
I have no doubt that 'Trumpism'
most definitely is the way to a better America.
I hope you will keep this definition in mind – you will see it repeated
often in the future.

Re-read that definition.
Understand what it says and remove the man from the man's ideas…Trump
may be an imperfect vehicle, but 'Trumpism' is the answer to many of our problems.
4. One thing I can assure you is if Hillary
Clinton wins in November, she will do nothing but increase the angst of the the
American people, and will most definitely take us closer to a tipping
point…We may or may not have the guts the Brits had - forcing true change
on our leaders (instead of how it’s been with them forcing changes we don’t
want on us). The election may go Hillary’s
way. Either way it won’t matter, because
at the end of the day the reality is ‘We the people’ are pissed off!!! (see #1 above). It's been on the top-right margin of this blog for quite awhile.

the pooh-bahs and grandees trying to scare voters into sticking with the status
quo. Naturally, the establishment media lectured the rubes on what was good for
