Of course they shouldn't, Nancy...This is what quarterbacks who've never won the Super Bowl say when talking about their place in history. Or actresses who have many nominations but never win an Oscar.
Winning means nothing. It's just not important...That's what losers say. And Nancy wants to pretend the 2010 election "shouldn't matter." Well, it does, and she knows it does. Heaven knows how much she thought it 'mattered' when the Democrats crushed the Republicans in 2006 and 2008. Or how much she will think it matters if they somehow recapture the House in the 2012 elections.

Maybe your little poo brain can comprehend this, we don't have a working successful public education system anymore. And it doesn't matter how much money the federal government throws at it. Studying for testing year round is not learning. Studying for funding is not learning.
And Nancy is quoted not really caring about civil liberties when faced with security.
