- Kofi admits his statement is not based on "a scientific study" but is "the most plausible account of the current impact of climate change."
**300,000 people per year are CURRENTLY dying due to the effects of Global Warming? I'm sure it's just me, but it seems like Kofi is simply pulling figures out of his ass...Especially since the actual global temperature since 2002 has gone down.
For those of you who continue to buy into the madness of Global Warming, here's three headlines (out of many others on the same topic) from the 1970's:
'The Cooling World' (Newsweek, 1975), 'Scientists Ask Why World Climate Is Changing: Major Cooling May Be Ahead' (The New York Times, 1975), and 'Earth Seems to be Cooling Off Again' (The Christian Science Monitor, 1974).
Could it be the Earth is simply in the process of constant change? Could it be the Sun is an ever changing ball of gas, which puts out different degrees of heat over time? Of course the answer to both questions is: YES!!!...It could also be that the 'Climate Changing Scare Mongers' have an unstated agenda; an agenda which is dependant on people giving up their freedom and money to those who are supposedly going to save them from the changes of the Earth and Sun.
Here's hoping I'm not one of Kofi's 300,000 any time soon, because I want to be around to read how the Earth is heading towards an other Ice Age,and how afraid we need to be.
That said, if our ancestors were nearly as pathetic as our current population, the last Ice Age would have wiped out humanity...I'm assuming you understand humans have been through many different stages of Climate Change, and have been more than tough enough to survive them. Oh, I'm also assuming you realize there was Climate Change long before humans were around to blame for Climate Change.**

You are assuming a LOT there at the end of your comments. Most people don't pay ANY attention to learning science (believe me, I try to teach it to their kids). The kids are also being brainwashed to some extent by elementary (and secondary, but to a lesser extent) teachers who are unqualified to teach science and so teach things that haven't been proven, but are politically correct and 'sound good' science. Oh, and Kofi IS just a powerful idiot, but that is NOT something new. The United Nations seems to have a proud tradition of idiot leaders....it couldn't survive a strong one.
