2009 Liberal Jackass Quotes of the Year - #2

Triumvir Nancy Pelosi (Speaker of the House)

"I give Republicans credit for this: They vote the way they believe...I think that they vote with more integrity than they get credit for...If you can't find common ground, that doesn't mean you're partisan. It just means you believe two different things."

**Uhhhhhh. The wheels are churning double-time in Nancy's sick little mind...I hope you haven't, or won't, fall prey to her trickery.

Pelosi is a partisan hack of the highest order, and a politician who will say or do anything to get what she wants...What does she want? More than anything she wants power. And how does she plan on getting more power than she already has? Queen Nancy plans on making every American dependent on the U.S. government, and as the leader of the cash-cow she will grow in power as the cash flow and public dependence increases.

So, what does this have to do with Pelosi's quote? Think it through. Nancy is getting ready to do a massive Liberal jam-down on the American people. She's going to push bills through with little-to-no Republican input and is going to do so on the mantra of: 'Just as I give Republicans credit for their integrity and beliefs (which she doesn't), I hope they will do the same for Democrats.'

Keep this in mind when Liberal policies start flying out of Congress towards Obama, who will sign them faster than the Congress created them...Keep this in mind when the Republicans are completely bypassed in the process of remaking and transforming this 'awful' country we know as America. Keep this in mind when the schmucks in the American public are wondering: 'What in the hell happened to my country?'

When this quote flew out of Nancy's pie-hole I was sure it would be the #1 Libby Jackass Quote of the Year, but there is one which topped it...Last year she was #3, this year, #2 (in more ways than one :), and Pelosi has to be a favorite to be #1 next year.**

I saw Nancy Pelosi on TV stating something to the effect that, "after the bill is passed then we can find out whats in it"! Huh? Surely she's not that stupid!

"Bipartisanship is a two-way street,” Princess Pelosi said. ”A bill can be bipartisan without bipartisan votes.”
"We have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market profits taxes could go a long ways to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as "Americans." Nancy, they aren't Americans!

"I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels," she says. Natural gas "is cheap, abundant and clean compared to fossil fuels," she has also stated. Problem is Nancy Poo, natural gas IS a fossil fuel. Snort!

"But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy."
Are you getting this? Americans won't be able to truly understand ObamaCare until ObamaCare becomes law! Pardon me, Madam Speaker, but there are a few of us who would like to know what is in this bill BEFORE you pass it. Did that thought ever cross your mind? Do you REALLY think that we, the American people, are going to trust you and the Democrats to create a bill that is in our best interests? I didn't think so. This is why the Democrats want to pass healthcare and they want to pass it ... yesterday. They don't want you to find out what is really in the bill until after it is signed into law. My god to think this women is third in line to the Presidency.
“It is a decision of the Supreme Court. So this is almost as if God has spoken.” – Nancy Pelosi reacting to the Supreme Court’s decision on “eminent domain”

Congressman Murtha has enjoys an excellent reputation in the Congress on both sides of the aisle.”– Speaker Nancy Pelosi

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is fond of quoting a particular passage of Scripture. The quote, however, does not appear in the Bible and is “fictional,” according to biblical scholars. In her April 22 Earth Day news release, Pelosi said, “The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.’ On this Earth Day, and every day, let us pledge to our children, and our children’s children, that they will have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature.”
Cybercast News Service repeatedly queried the speaker’s office for two days to determine where the alleged Bible quote is found. Thus far, no one has responded. …
Claude Mariottini, a professor of Old Testament at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, told Cybercast News Service the passage not only doesn’t exist – it’s “fictional.” “It is not in the Bible,” Mariottini said. “There is nothing that even approximates that.”
