2009 Liberal Jackass Quotes of the Year - #5
Department of Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis
"[T]he consequences of a prolonged economic downturn – including real estate foreclosures, unemployment and an inability to obtain credit – could create a fertile recruiting environment for right-wing extremists and even result in confrontations between such groups and government authorities similar to those in the past."
- From a report titled 'Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.'
**The quote above is just a small snippet of the report, but gives a nice outline of the tactics the new administration is looking to take to silence its critics.
"We are on the lookout for criminals and terrorists actively but we do not - nor will we ever - monitor ideology or political beliefs." - Janet NapoliReno (Homeland Security Secretary)
Thanks for the half-hearted excuse for this Gestapo-like report. It makes me feel much better...HARDLY!!
Needless to say, the Democrats are large-and-in-charge, and have no intention of allowing Republicans or Conservatives (make sure not to confuse the two; there is a huge difference), nor independents, to get in the way of the 'Triumvirate From Hell' radically transforming the country.
Just for fun lets list some of the 'right wing extremist' activities they are looking out for: Citizens against illegal immigration, taxes, massive government spending, caving into foreign enemies, and turning over U.S. sovereignty to the U.N. Also listed as possible 'right wing extremists' are disgruntled military veterans, gun owners, and those who generally don't like or trust the government...Pero fits every one of their profile criteria; AND YOU PROBABLY DO ON A FEW, AS WELL!!
Don't let Nappy kid you, her office took the time to create this report, then were stupid and arrogant enough to put it to paper. Policy reports and statements are produced for a purpose, not for kicks and grins...They just didn't plan on anyone finding it, and this was a small segment in the overall report. Who knows what hasn't been discovered yet?
