- Statement Maxine made to oil company executives when they met with Congress.
**"uh, um" were the most intelligent sounds to come out of Rep. Waters' mouth in this comment. But at least she told the truth about her (and her other Democrat pals) plans.........And don't think for a minute the oil industry is the only one they plan on "taking over." And now that they control the Presidency and Congress there is little which can be done to stop them.
No worry though, the government always does a fine job of running things; just look at Social Security (doh), education (duh), veterans administration (ouch), the Post Office (blah), etc., etc., etc......I'm sure they'd perform just as miraculously if they ran the oil industry (cry).
Just like Hugo Chavez does in Venezuela.**
