"Blacks are under attack."

- Commenting on the death of Trayvon Martin, a Florida teenager.

From everything we know, this is a terribly tragic story.  Especially for his family and community (black, white or otherwise), and IF the man who killed him (George Zimmerman) did so in cold blood he should get the death penalty (as all killers should)...Who knows how this tragedy played out, but IF it did as it's claimed the killer needs to die.  That said, how often is the media completely off base on these matters?

"I'm a black male and all that I know is that George has never given me any reason whatsoever to believe he has anything against people of color...All these people who are threatening George, what makes them any better than the person they think he is?  You've got all these people wanting to lynch the man and they don't know the whole story. There are huge gaps that are being filled in and interpreted without evidence." - Joe Oliver

Maybe it makes sense to let justice play out.

Almost as sad, Je$$e, Screwie Louis Farrakhan, Not-So-Fat Al Sharpton, and the rest of the professional race hucksters, are making this a 'black' issue...If you only watch or read news headlines you 'just know' it's a 'black & white' issue.

Which is why you shouldn't trust the MSM..."George is a Spanish-speaking minority (mom is Hispanic, dad is white) with many black family members and friends. He would be the last to discriminate for any reason whatsoever." - Robert Zimmerman (George's father)

Not that it's necessarily the case in this matter with Martin, but truth is the 'black community' has much bigger problems with the 'Hispanic community' (and vice verse) than with the 'white community.'

But that's not the storyline the race-baiters and media want to run with, so instead we'll get a steady dose of a slightly different, less honest, version...Which will only stimulate the lunatics who crave a race war (New Black Panthers, Farrakhan, etc. - as well as the white nuts).

On a different note:  I thought President Obama was going to put an end to this stuff; he was a uniter, not a divider...I guess not.
