As if Democrat politicians (or Liberal elites) understand the "middle class".  Almost half of the members of Congress are millionaires (R's and D's), and most of those who aren't millionaires are getting very close or doing their best to get there...As a group they are the 1% , and any of them pretending to understand "average folks" is a disgraceful lie.

The funniest thing about Biden's comment isn't his ruse about Democrats "know(ing) what it means to be middle class."

My family-of-four typically spends $100-$150/week on food; approximately $5,000-$8,000/year.  That's less than $5/person/meal...I'm not crying poor or boasting about these figures.  I'm just giving an example of what "middle class" Americans spend for their meals; or to put it another way what they spend 'per-plate'.

I don't begrudge anyone their personal wealth; not even the 1%'ers in Congress - did I mention 8 of the 10 richest members in Congress are Democrats? - but I can't even dream of spending $10,000 for a single meal.  Or a single event of any kind...But this is exactly the type of event Biden gave this speech at:  A $10,000/plate Democrat campaign fundraiser.

This is 'rich'.  Joey Bags was giving a speech to Democrat 1%'ers at $10,000/plate about how Republican 1%'ers "don't know what it means to be middle class."

Incredibly, Joe and his pals don't see the disconnect...Either that or they're counting on no one hearing their lies.
