Rep. Nancy Pelosi (Former Speaker of the House)
"In one of the bills before us, six million seniors are deprived of meals - homebound seniors are deprived of meals. People ask us to find our common ground, the middle ground. Is middle ground three million seniors not receiving meals? I don't think so. We've got to take this conversation from a debate about numbers and dollar figures and finding middle ground there to the higher ground of national values. I don't think the American people want any one of those six million people to lose their meals or the children who are being thrown off of Head Start and the rest of it."
Nancy is such a piece of work (among other things). You'd think seniors would be far too smart to listen to her insanity, but her scare tactics must work because she continues to use the same ones year after year...By this logic, seniors must believe the Republican budget proposals aim to 'starve them to death.' They must believe the mean ol' Republicans want to deprive their grandchildren, as well.
Well, many seniors were duped into believing ObamaCare would be good for them, so maybe they do trust Pelosi...Amazingly, they trust the scumbags at AARP, too, but that's a different story.
Maybe some day seniors will understand they are nothing but pawns in the Democrat Party's big-government power play, and their grandchildren are going to be the ones left holding the bag (of money) when the bill is due...Then again, maybe I'm wrong in assuming seniors care. Maybe they have no problem adding to the $14,000,000,000,000 debt we currently have. Maybe they couldn't care less how much they're crippling their 'babies-babies' economic future.
Personally, I find this impossible to believe.

I love the line that, "the source data for Pelosi’s claims came from the busiest agency in Washington, DC: “The Institute for Facts and Figures I Pulled Out of My Butt.”
The Dems are running that agency ragged this week.
Here's a belief that the Reps settled for too little, especially on Planned Abortionhood defunding. They had the high ground of public opinion and let the Dems turn it around on them. Glad SOMETHING got done and that the Prez and Dems lost face in the mess, but it could have gone much better!!
