I hate to do this to President Bush, but the 'Bailout BS' was the Liberal Jackass Event of the Year, and Bush pushed it like a mother.
The sad thing is this bailout is only the first of many which are to come, which is the worst part of the deal, because we are just throwing good money after bad, and aren't anywhere near the end of the financial mess......If we think the government can solve our problem we are in for a rude awakening, and might find our latest 'recession' becomes a government created 'depression.' Just like the 'not-so-Great Depression.'**

Hmmm ... I don't suppose the neo-conservative policies that put troops on the ground in Iraq could have anything to do with the current recession and the need for a bailout plan, could they? Of course not...
Hey, I guess you could apply the "billion here, billion there" logic about frivolity of government spending to that as well. Where were you with your sage advice when all that money was being thrown around?
But, like I expect you will say, that's not the same ... and you're right! With respect to Iraq it should run more like "TRILLION here, TRILLION there".
Keep digging deep for a way to blame that on "liberal jackasses". Oh my...

Well "Just Say No" is the motto of the Republican Party. I changed party affiliation since the Nut-Cake "right-wing" Rush-Beck(F%*k Beck) took over. Yesterday (Fri, Nov 6) Republican Michelle Bachmann's "song & dance" demo in DC cost the Republicans a "Loss" on their amendment to the Patriot Act due to 4 Republicans who were not in Congress to vote, instead at the Monkey Show. So (again) these Nut-Cakes elected to Congress choose Publicity over Policy (their own). The Republican amendment would have PASSED, but Failed since they cared of the camera, not the voters. SHAME on the Republican Party of NO, very un-American and non-patriotic (a real Benedict Arnold modern party).
