Come on, be honest. These people are not representative of people on the left and you know it. Every idealolgy has it extremists and for you to paint these people as being indicative of the left is dishonest and pathetic. I might as well say that Fred Phelps represents your party.
Why not have a honest discussion instead of dishonestly demonizing progressive in this country. But that is what the republican party seem to be about "My way or the highway."

How about MoveOn.org, Code Pink, etc..........Are they mainstream Leftists? They seem to have a lot of pull with the Democrat Party. Much more than Fred Phelps does in the Republican Party.
Also, who do you think these idiots are going to vote for in 08? If they vote at all, it will be (D) or (I), or maybe even a write in........But in no way will it ever be (R).

I hope you as I do support any group or individual's right to freedom of speech. I do not agree with what you say but I will fight for your right to say it. These people have a right to demonstrate just as you have a right to demonstrate publically.
I do have a very BIG problem with the forum in which they chose to demonstrate and I believe most progressive would agree with me.
Can you give me an example of MoveOn.org demostrating in a inapropriate manner and no, I don't think the recent add calling General Petraeus, Betray Us, as inapprpriate. At least the name Betray Us speaks to the truth whereas hag, bastard and scumbag which is just profanity used for shock value. And a newpaper is a perfectly reasonable and appropriate medium to make that kind of statement.
The thing that bothers me about this website is the feeling I get, due the the venom displayed by the administrators and the visitors that post here, that you people would be a lot happier if there was no opposing opinion. That is very scary.
