Leonard Rubenstein (Executive Director Physicians for Human Rights)

"It's a step away from a terribly discriminatory and inappropriate policy, but it doesn't go far enough"...."If you want to remove stigma from AIDS, you have to go the whole distance, and eliminate all restrictions on entry to the United States for people with HIV."

- Complaining about President Bush NOT GOING FAR ENOUGH to allow foreigners with AIDS to enter the U.S.

**Famous phrase on a plaque at the base of the Statue of Liberty:

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.

Oh, and feel free to send your pestilence ridden crap as well.

I'm sure this will be an addendum to the plaque someday.**

Does Rubenstein complain about all the other countries that require HIV testing for entry or just the US?

Good point, Henry......His answer is probably predicatable.

That said, I couldn't care less what other countries want. A feeling I'm sure you concur with.
