ACLU(seless)

The paralyzing drug "makes it impossible for witnesses to determine whether death row inmates in California are being subjected to substantial and unnecessary pain before dying."

-- Claiming execution by lethal injection violates the Eighth Amendment.

**When I think of "cruel and unusual" pain, I generally think of murderers killing innocent people........Not murderers being killed.

Such is the difference between Conservatives and Liberals.......Conservatives care for the innocent, Liberals for the guilty.

Personnally, I'd like to see murderers have their head shoved in the barrel of a canon, and a canonball fired through the chamber to kill them........Maybe the Useless would prefer this method.**

It's fine to object to the 8th Amendment. It can always be repealed, if you think that cruel and unusual punishment should be permitted. (Although I must say I have never heard someone --- even the most ardent of conservatives --- advocate for the repeal of one of the Bill of Rights.)

I love all the amendments......But I don't see anything "cruel" or "unusual" in executing murderers.

And would throw rapists into the mix as well.
