Bill Bigelow (Anti-War Whack-tivist)
"[T]he pretend war of celebratory fireworks thus becomes part of a propaganda campaign that inures us - especially the children among us - to current and future wars half a world away."
- Commenting about the psychological danger of fireworks on the 4th of July.
I didn't watch fireworks this year, so I must be a good boy...But those of you who did are bad boys and girls. Especially those of you who exposed your children to what is more-or-less a mock battle sequence, glorifying the killing of poor, helpless Third Worlders across the globe.
You are bad! You are a terrible person! Because you watched fireworks.
So says this clown, who thinks of himself part of the Liberal intelligentsia - an entire group of jerkoffs who have nothing better to do than to scold and talk down to us barbaric peons.
What a disgrace.
And for the record, I didn't watch fireworks due to rain. Otherwise I would have taken part in the fake war/pyrotechnic show...So, I'm not such a good boy, either, I guess.
