LeBron James (Guy Who Plays With Balls)
"It's always, you know, a race factor."
- Answer when asked if race is a factor in the backlash against him leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat.
Come on, man! LeBron is a good guy, a hell of a basketball player, and I have no idea if he's a Liberal or not. But, his comment is straight out of the Liberal race-card playbook...Which also makes it a Jackass quote.
Of course Cleveland fans are bent about him leaving their pathetic city; any city would be upset about it. And the way he left town, putting on a ridiculous production while making his choice of teams, was low-class at best, pouring salt on an open wound at worst...Also, of course there are racists who look for ways to prove their stupidity, but in general this is nowhere near the case when it comes to James. He couldn't possibly mean what he said, could he?
"I'm not going to go back on my words...I answered the question. I think people are looking too far into it. But, at the same time, sometimes it [racism] does play a part in it." - LeBron James
Dude! Why double down on stupidity? Someone is giving him terrible advice; most likely the same fools who got him in this position in the first place with the way he handled free-agency.
What's funny is some of the most vocal voices against LeBron's move were Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley...Well known racists for sure.
