Sen. Johnny Heinz-Kerry (D'u' - Mass.)

“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening.”

- Explaining why the American people are angry with Democrats and on the verge of booting many of them out of office.

Gotta love a guy who more or less comes out and says the American people are too ignorant to make intelligent choices.  What an elitist putz.

There is some truth to what he said, however, and there's no better proof than the way the people flocked to the polls under the 'Hopey Changey' slogan...For some reason I'm doubting this is what Mr. Heinz meant, because useful idiots who vote (D) are good.
