Barack Obama (Mosque Builder-in-Chief)
"This is America. And our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country and that they will not be treated differently by their government is essential to who we are...And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances."
- Obama's original comment about building a mosque at 'Ground Zero.'
"I was not commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to put a mosque there. I was commenting very specifically on the right people have that dates back to our founding. That's what our country is about. And I think it's very important, as difficult as some of these issues are, that we stay focused on who we are as a people and what our values are all about."
- Obama's attempt to cover his rear after his original statement...Not a very convincing or successful attempt.
**For some reason I knew it would be 'our most genius and glorious president ever' who would pull me out of my 'blogging funk.'
This is the man we elected to lead our country? This is the man the rest of the world watches as he sticks it to his own country?
"The decision to build this mosque so close to the site of Ground Zero is deeply troubling, as is the president's decision to endorse it. The American people certainly don't support it. We can never forget that terrible day, and the heroes who lost their lives - often in the hope that others might live. We honor their memory and their sacrifice, always." - John Boehner (House Minority Leader)
"President Obama should stop condescending to his fellow citizens, and should start listening to us. He thinks we’re traumatized by 9/11. We’re not. But we do remember 9/11, and we don’t think it honors the memory of that day to acquiesce in - or worse, to embrace - this mosque with those sponsors at that place." - Bill Kristol
"[Obama] has abandoned America at the place where America's heart was broken nine years ago, and where her true values were on display for all to see...Now this president declares that the victims of 9/11 and their families must bear another burden. We must stand silent at the last place in America where 9/11 is still remembered with reverence or risk being called religious bigots." - '9/11 Families for a Safe & Strong America'
Obama's comments on this matter are sickening, very sad, and most incredible of all: PREDICTABLE, because he is a man who has shown so much disregard for his country and its history...Question is will the American people make Barack and his fellow Democrats pay for such disregard and utter stupidity? Don't assume it's a given they will. Get out and help throw every one of them out of office! Or don't.**

I think the writer of this needs to actually figure this out. Islam is not a religion of hate. It's as peaceful as you think of Christianity. The main reason you don't agree with him is because you support your party no matter what, even if President Obama's speech there MADE SENSE.
Lets also not forget that, if this place is so sacred, then why do we not protest the Strip club nearby? The Adult novelty store nearby? The 17 pizza shops? 17 Salons? It's alright for these to be here, but a Islamic Cultural Center, the equivulant of a YMCA, which is a Christian Community Center, is TOO extreme? The fact that many Americans support the construction of a Strip Club in the cultural center location over the proposed center really shows the ignorance and terrible morality and vaule chioces Americans have. Read your facts before you make a fool out of yourself, dumbass.
