Barack Obama (Censorer-in-Chief)

"With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, - none of which I know how to work - information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation."

**So much for Francis Bacon's famous axiom: "Nam et ipsa scientia potestas est." ("Knowledge is power.")

I'm not surprised to hear Barack is against people obtaining information/knowledge. How is he going to pull the wool over their eyes if they know what's being done to them?...I'm also not surprised to hear Obama doesn't think the American people can handle the information they obtain, as well as have the ability to sift out the BS, because he's a Lefty and Lefties believe only the information they allow the people to have is of value.

In other words, Obama doesn't want the people 'distracted' or 'diverted' from his propaganda, because in Liberalville the master-class dictates what's important to the mass of useful idiots, and the only way these idiots remain useful is if they don't strive towards Bacon's axiom but instead strive towards another: "Ignorance is bliss." - Thomas Gray**
