Philip Alston (U.N. Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial Executions)
"The problem with the United States is that it is making an increased use of drones/Predators [which are] particularly prominently used now in relation to Pakistan and Afghanistan...My concern is that drones/Predators are being operated in a framework which may well violate international humanitarian law and international human rights law."
**You mean to tell me our Nobel Peace Prize winning Commander-in-Chief might be a war criminal? I wonder if the World Court will attempt to try him for such crimes?
Or is this Special 'C'Rapporteur just another idiotic U.N. mouthpiece with nothing better to do than to shoot off his holier than thou mouth any time the U.S. projects military strength?
Here's wishing Obama would change his strategy of expanded Predator use, all together...I'd much rather he use Tomahawk cruise-missiles, B-2 Stealth-bombers, and B-52 Stratofortresses to bomb the AfPak toilet-bowl into oblivion.**
