**If I didn't know better, I would have thought the moron making this statement didn't know how to read or write.......I would have, also, sworn the comment came from a Democrat U.S. Senator:
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, and you study hard, and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, um, you, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq." - Sen. Johnny Heinz-Kerry (D'u' - Mass)
The worst part of both statements is they are absolute lies: OVER 95% OF U.S MILITARY RECRUITS HAVE GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL.....The entire U.S. population has under an 80% graduation rate!!

95% of those in the military have a HS diploma.......Thats not my stats, it comes from Heritage, which got it from the DoD.
You are right about the general public (inner cities)......The military has a much higher rate of HS grads than the general pop. This was my point about those who say only the ignorant the military.
