Frank Kameny ('hero to the homosexual community')

"Bestiality is not my thing…But it seems to be a harmless foible or idiosyncrasy of some people. So, as long as the animal doesn't mind (and the animal rarely does), I don't mind, and I don't see why anyone else should...If bestiality with consenting animals provides happiness to some people, let them pursue their happiness."

"Absolutely indisputably a central part of the very definition of Americanism is the guarantee, found in the Declaration of Independence, as not merely a Right, but as an Inalienable Right, of the 'Pursuit of Happiness...If something which someone arbitrarily defines as a 'sexual perversion' provides happiness for consenting adult participants, then its enjoyment is enshrined in basic Americanism....So: Let us have more and better enjoyment of more and better sexual perversions, by whatever definition, by more and more consenting adults. We will all be the better off thereby. And that will be Americanism in action."

**And some of you think I'm crazy when I say these degenerates want to completely destroy the definition of Normal!!!

Just remember you heard the acronym here first: GLBTTBNPR = Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Transgendered, Try-Sexual, Bestial, Necrophilia, Pedophilia, Robo-Homo.

In due time they will all push for Normalcy........If Liberals have their way they will get their wish, and Heteros will be branded as Normos.**

    Hey -

I came across your site by chance, and I just wanted to put my two cents in. You might be surprised by what I have to say, so please, keep reading. I am lesbian. Notice that I don't say I am *a* lesbian. It is not the definition of me. It is a small, PRIVATE, part of me that I'm only sharing with you due to the context of this blog post. I wanted to state that I do not know who Frank Kameny is, he is certainly _not_ my hero, and I think the above comments he has made are pretty sick. I try to put it out there, when appropriate, that not all homosexuals are like this. It's disheartening to see judgment passed on me due to fools like this. However, I really do understand your disgust. I think the state of relationships and families in this country are beyond repair. The divorce, serial monogamy and promiscuity that goes on in this country by both the straight and gay population is dangerous, and the earlier and earlier ages of children that are engaging in sex is criminal. I think this, among other things, are ripping our country to shreds. I think that the tone in which the gay community airs their griefs is often embarrassing, and does nothing to further their standing in the eyes of the American community at large. How can anyone be expected to be taken seriously parading around for their "rights" in leather chaps with nothing underneath - while leading their flavor of the week behind them on a leash? It's insanity. I would like to say to that the fever with which the gay community demands their rights is handled completely inappropriately. I personally don't see what the demand for changing the rules of the institution of marriage does for anyone. What I would like to see happen is that anyone be allowed to leave their hard earned retirement and/or social security to anyone they choose - be it your husband, your wife, your sister, your partner, or the lady down the hall who spent the last 10 years of your life making trips to the grocery store for you because you were no longer capable of driving yourself. At that point, it's no longer about *me* or my special interest group, it's about the government, particularly the liberals, getting their hands out of the American peoples' wallet. I am in a committed relationship of 9 years. We dated for 4 years before even discussing moving in with one another. We understood that choosing this sort of relationship meant that we wouldn't get the same tax breaks as a married couple, but then neither did we when we were single. I don't discuss my personal life at work, as it is personal. I don't think anyone should spend much, if any time discussing personal matters at work. My partner and I have made a verbal commitment to each other, and like a marriage - I mean to keep it till we die. It is not up for debate, it is not up for re-evaluation in 5 years. It is a life long commitment - recognized by law or not. We are very happy, and that's all I ever wanted. As for the comments of this fool and the right of people to do what they want: First - an animal cannot consent to sex...neither can a minor, or your child. That's just sick! Secondly, incestuous relationships cannot be consented to because I fail to believe even if both parties are adults, that they can both consent. There is a psychological power struggle or dynamic there that does not allow consent...and I don't even want to get into the ethical issues of having children with family members. Thirdly, and probably most importantly, if you don't want people dictating what you can and can't do in your private home - then quit screaming about it. 99% of the time, most people would rather not know about it anyway. I think this is also 99% of the reason homosexuals have so many groups rallying against them. So, even if you have a problem with homosexuality at its core, I hope this proves to some degree that there are a few of us out there that are somewhat rational...even if my morals do not jive with yours on every single level. Then, we can at least both show respect for each other's lives...even if we have to agree to disagree. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for your comment Emily. Thanks for putting it all out there, too. I'm sure it was difficult on many levels....I also admit it's probably difficult not to come out and call me a prick.

That said, I have no problem with homosexuals who don't make it their life goal to change society. I have no problem with homosexuals who keep their sexual relations as private as I do with my wife. This is the way it should be, hetero and homo.

The 'hero to the homosexual community' label came directly from many articles on/from homosexuals. It is unfair to label all homosexuals as those who think he's a hero, unfortunately the vocal power brokers in the GLBT community look at him as a hero, though.

The problem is the lunatics. This is the problem with all of society, but they are very powerful on the Left....The Right has plenty of lunatics as well, but they are nowhere near the levers of power.

Heaven knows the idiot Republicans in charge aren't Conservatives, and all of the various churches have a voice, but they are pretty marginalized.......By the way, I'm not a religio.

One of my favorite Conservative talk show hosts is Tammy Bruce, who is very out there about being a lesbian. She gets it, and is proud of her sexual orientation....I respect the hell out of her because she knows she is outside the norm, and only asks that she not be crapped on by society. Treat her like a human being and she is happy.

TO BE HONEST THIS IS ALL I WANT AS WELL........I want my privacy to be respected, and I don't want people trying to change the way I live or raise my children.

I bet we are much more similar than either of us imagines, Emily. I am glad you came by and commented, and hope you will do so often.

I admit to being a bomb thrower, but if you read into my posts what they really are (not what they might be) you will find my blog isn't bad.

Either way, I wish you luck and happiness with whatever adult relationship you choose to have.

FYI: I don't think I've ever made a post about a lesbian here......Homosexual women don't seem to as beligerent as men and transgendered. Not including those in the political sphere anyway. I've hired three lesbians (at least three I knew of), and all three were very respectful and didn't try to push themselves on others. I hired one gay man, and he was ridiculous.

    Kameny is just sick!!!

The animal "rarely does"?!? How the F does he know that?!? This guy should be in prison for abetting animal cruelty.

Emily, you're cool! I wish you were a "hero to the homosexual community". Acceptance of homosexuals would be much further along in our society, if that was the case.

Glad you came by, and hope that you return often.

do not wish to detract from many good deeds;however f.e.kameny does not understand that sex is not a person's sole identity. It should be taken in stride with one's life.
He has walked away from family,money-producing activities, and become totally obsessional. But now has championed sex with animals is a vile, depraved cause, only assumed to keep himself in the limelight and stay famous.
He has changed his image from hero to freak; from hero to zero.
