**The DLC is a 'moderate wing' of the Democrat Party, which states it “seeks to define and galvanize popular support for a new public philosophy built on progressive ideals, mainstream values, and innovative, non-bureaucratic, market-based solutions"........In other words, the DLC is the ideal of the New Democrats Bill Clinton called himself when president. And Bill Clinton is one of its leading advocates.
In the eyes of the Left, the DLC is nothing short of the Rightwing of the Democrat Party.......A wing it does not wish to exist.
THE WHACKJOBS IN THE DEMOCRAT NETROOTS CONSIDERS THE DLC TO BE NO LONGER NEEDED, BECAUSE IT BELIEVES IT IS TIME FOR THE PARTY TO ABDICATE TO, AND ACT ON THE WISHES OF, ITS FAR LEFT WING!!!
What's scary is the Democrat Party seems to be somewhat in agreement, and has started shunning the DLC in exchange for pleasing its nuts.........Proof can be found in the way the 2008 Democrat presidential candidates are treating the DLC compared to the loons at the Daily Kos.**

I think it is a GOOD thing for the right if the Dems swing WAY left...most Americans are somewhere in the middle and hate the far left just as much as the far right. Plus, when it really gets down to it..most Americans' values are closer to the far right than these whack jobs on the far left....
