**I am a huge defender of the police, but this is a stupid comment. Private property rights and the right to protect private property are basic principles of the American nation.

Giving up the right to protect private property has led us down the path towards giving rights to those who wish to make claims on private property; from the simplest crook to the Federal Government.........I am quite certain the Founding Fathers would be sick at the statement by Sgt. Young, but am also quite certain there are many in our current government who equally disagree with the Founding Fathers.**
