**The Abramoff Scandal is a big problem for both parties, and will turn out just like the Enron Scandal. If you remember, it started out as a Republican scandal, and then the truth came out that Enron was as highly invested in the Democrat Party as the Republican...........Then it was buried by both parties. Which is exactly what will happen with this one.
Just for record-keeping: 40 Democrat senators took money from Abramoff, including Joseph Biden, Barbara Boxer, Hillary Clinton, Byron Dorgan (at least $79,000), John Kerry (at least $98,000), Pat Leahy, Barack Obama and Chuck Schumer.
No one expects Howie to deal with reality, however.**
