Pero, I may be wrong, but the way I heard it when they interviewed the kid was that he wears shorts all of the time because he has huge calves or something that makes it uncomfortable to wear long pants....the school said he couldn't wear shorts in the winter (while girls can still wear skirts)and he felt his only other option was a skirt, not only because of his discomfort, but because of the arbitrariness of the 'no shorts between Oct 1 and Aril 1 rule (which I agree is a bit too much). The kid is NOT a pervert nor is he trying to cause a NORMO-type problem. This was more of a protest against the shorts ban.

Poison Pero would have been knocking female students in pants if this was still the 1960's! He's a typical nonreasoning A hole! And would have been tossed out of Rome under Theodosius I for wearing PANTS!
