"[T]here's nothing bad or unhealthy about having a big number of sexual partners."

- Answer to a posting on Planned Parenthood's Facebook page.  The question was:  "Is promiscuity a bad thing?"

It's hard to believe anyone - especially a group which supposedly cares about women's health - can say there is "nothing bad or unhealthy about having a big number of sexual partners."

There are obvious issues with STD's.  There are obvious issues with unwanted pregnancies.  And there are not-as-obvious emotional and psychological issues for women who have "a big number of sexual partners."

Oh, before I forget, this Facebook page wasn't necessarily intended for consumption by 'women'...It was posted on their page 'FOR TEENS.'

So, according to Planned Parenthood, "[T]here's nothing bad or unhealthy about having a big number of sexual partners" - FOR TEENS!

Makes you wonder what their angle is?  Maybe this is it:

Ah, yes.  I forgot the obvious - Follow the money, baby!
