So, who's surprised the lunatics are in the process of edging out the moronic college kids? I'm not. And, who's surprised the so-called Far Left and Far Right are more or less marching together to destroy America? I'm not...The problem is most people look at the political spectrum in a horizontal manner instead of a circular one.
The proper way to view the spectrum is with the very bottom of the circle as the Center; the right is the Right and the left is the Left. Traditionally the Democrat Party has been between the Center and Left and the Republican Party between the Center and Right...The very top is where the Far Right and Far Left meet, and is the Lunatic Fringe. It should be noted these lunatics are much closer to one another than they are to the Right and Left, even though it would be a mistake to not understand they are ultimately enemies of each other as well.
What's really amazing are so many Democrats (Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Franks, etc. - along with the entire MSM), who are supposedly Center-Left but not Radical Left, supporting the 'Occupy' movement. They should know better...That said, I'm not surprised because I have no such disillusion about their reality or intentions.
Maybe this should be wake up call for those who continue to believe Democrats are Center-Left...And maybe this should be a lesson for those who don't know history. If I were you I'd learn about and keep in mind one word: WEIMAR.
