Carlos X. Carrillo (Chief Border Patrol Agent for the Laredo, Texas Sector)

**I admit I'm completely shell-shocked by this statement, which is nothing less than an absolute admission the federal government has no interest in stopping illegal immigrants from crossing the border.
Also, I'm sure it's not 'Politically Correct' to say, but having a Carlos Carrillo as a Border Patrol section chief is about as foolish as putting a Muhammad I'masheetinmypants as Homeland Security Director.**

It surely must be obvious to everyone that Mr.Garrillo's cerebral cortex is operating below room temperature! (If at all!) Of course,consideration must be given to one's ethocentrism as well as money he may be receiving from unknown sources.I believe his immediate supervisor should be made to explain his recommendation for Carrillo's selection.

Not to worry, the clueless BP chief, Carlos X. Carrillo took an early retirement this week (01/05/09). But the rumored reason for his resignation has nothing to do with his asinine statements and more to do with his alleged sexual harassment of certain female BP employees. It seems Mr. Carrillo was too busy trying to catch something on the side rather than reading his job description.

I am a border patrol agent and what Mr. Carrillo said is right-on. My job is not to be an immigration cop or to simply seize dope. My job is to secure our borders and protect our nation from ALL THREATS. "Illegals" will continue to come to this country so long as there are people who hire them, and anyone who thinks BP alone can stop illegal aliens from coming to this country are as clueless as congress.

I don't know if this will ever be read since this incident is well past but in response to the anonymous Border Patrol Agent, I too am a Border Patrol Agent and you sir are incompetent and malfeasant. Your JOB is to enforce the immigration laws of the United States. If you do not feel that you are capable of doing that, quit!
Carrillo was parroting then Chief of the Border Patrol Aguilar who was fond of saying that under DHS our job was to prevent terrorism and that he had to deal with the "threat in the mix". Well sir, I submit that all illegal aliens are terrorist in their own way. I have investigated many illegal immigration related identity theft cases which terrorized the victims when they were audited by the IRS or had their credit ruined by an illegal alien who stole, knowingingly or not, a person's identity. I have seen people infected by contagious diseases transmitted by illegal aliens who took illegal employment in restaurants and nursing homes and were not subjected to medical screenings as legal employees would have been. These victims were TERRORIZED and if you do not understand that or believe that, may the same happen to you.
You sir are a fool who was obviously hired after the creation of Homeland Security - DHS - Dystopia, Hypocrasy, Sycophancy.
