**I hate to assume the outcry at this university (Colorado University, at Boulder) if a scholarship was offered only to "straights." I know exactly how it would end up.....It would end up with the scholarship provider being ostracised and any students who received the "straight scholarship" being dismissed or disallowed from their educational program.
Years ago, I attended C.U. Boulder, and it was a freakshow. I'll never forget the day I was walking to class and a Normo tied himself to a tree, in pink panties, with a boom-box yelling out "don't hate me, don't hurt me, don't want to kill me, because I am gay.".....It was one of the most disgusting displays I've ever seen in my life, and what made it even worse was this moron was doing his display for a grade, as part of a performing arts class.
Just another reminder for any of you who may be sending your children off to college (now or in the near future).........Your children's mush-filled minds are up for grabs, and professional degenerates are waiting to steal them from you.**

Difference: People in the GLBT community have to deal with hate from closed-minded people like yourself. Once straight people starts having to live with the fear of becoming Matthew Shepard every time they go out to a bar, they can get $1000 college scholarships too.
By the way, Gretchen Lee is a school representative doing her job. She might even be a conservative. This scholarship is offered by CHEVRON, a company run by predominantly right wing straight men. Not CU Boulder. How is it that your "liberal jackass quote of the day" is a quote from someone of ambiguous political background referencing a policy by a corporation that is, if anything, right wing run?
If liberals and conservatives are going to continue slinging insults at each other rather than doing anything constructive- which, admittedly, I'm taking part in here by responding to you- at LEAST don't make your insults so damn pathetic.
