Helen Thomas (Dinosaur, Goebbels Award Recipient)

"The Bush administration—a strong promoter of private and religious schools—wants to make it easier for school children displaced by Hurricane Katrina to attend private schools by pushing its pet voucher program... What is it about the public school system that this president doesn't like?"

**Has she not seen the debacle that is the "public school system"?

Can she really say our children's level of reading, writing, spelling, math, American history, literature, science, etc., etc., are at a high level? Of course she can't.............Yet the great majority of the children who are falling behind or failing are in the "public school system"

Heaven forbid a child goes to a "religious school"........They may hear the G-O-D word. --> And may actually learn something other than Leftist propaganda.**

I live in the area of KY where they had a big run in with the ACLU and the GS Alliance because two (yes two!) teen boys that thought they were gay (and I say thought because one is now married to a woman and says he wishes he'd never started the whole thing) wanted to start a gay club in the school in this very religious area, now the schools are forcing children to take these tolerance training classes as part of their settlement with above mentioned organizations.

This "wonderful" public school system with their tolerance training (which translated means "its okay to be gay") for pre-schoolers is why my son is being homeschooled. I personally would love if they passed school vouchers and included homeschoolers in it.

And liberals claim that public school is too conservative??

It still amazes me that she's Danny Thomas' sister. Guess we know where Marlo got her leanings from!
