**I know there are many Liberals who long for the purity of pre-Lenin Communism, but there is only one way to "view that history"........And that "view" is of Communism's reality, which has been anything but utopian.
After WWII Soviet Communism was a boot on the throat of Eastern Europe, and killed over 20,000,000 Russians, Ukranians, Tartars, Siberians, etc. --> And a mortal threat to Western democracy, the U.S. in particular.
I'm quite sure the Poles, Lithuanians, Czechs, prisoners of the Gulag, etc., would have a different "view" of the "Soviet presence" than jackasses like Woodruff**
