Bush said it; Obama is saying it; and had Romney been elected he'd be saying it, as well.
 
Of course NSA spying offends my senses, but it is the world we live in - a dangerous world, where technology has the power to hurt and help us.  I also have no doubt our government is doing some super sketchy stuff, and I have no doubt it is unfortunately necessary...Because I have no doubt there are a lot of people who wish to do America harm.  A lot of people; millions and millions of people!

And that's just the Islamists, who are only one of the groups who would love to kill Americans - and I believe the NSA when they say they have thwarted some big plans to do so...Because I know the Islamists are at war with us - even if our Commander-in-Chief claims we aren't at war with them.

I just hope Obama's not stupid enough to believe his own propaganda on this matter...Luckily, his daily reports about our enemies probably overtake his narcissistic belief the Islamists would stop hating the U.S. after he became president.

And lets also not forget there are plenty of countries who would love to see the U.S. knocked down a few notches (Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, etc.)...We better pray our government is tracking these SOB's in and outside our borders.

The thing that really frustrates me is the double standard:  Good when Democrat, Bad when Republican.

This is the kind of stuff that undermines our people more than anything:  Duplicitous politicians who will say or do anything to get elected or re-elected - pitting people against each other, creating straw-filled bogeymen, solely to get power themselves.
