"We've been working since 1995 to try to improve the climate in schools for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender kids, as well as those kids who are just thought to be gay, because there is an enormous amount of harassment and discrimination at stake.''
Sen. Kuehl's law would require schools to buy textbooks which portray "the sexual diversity of our society,'' and mandate that students hear history lessons on "the contributions of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender to the economic, political, and social development of California and the United States of America.''

I just checked out a book at our (military) library this week for my 5-year-old daughter. It looked innocent enough...a story about penguins at the zoo. Until I realized it was a story about 2 boy penguins who were "in love" and did everything together, including sleeping together. Then the zookeeper gives them an egg to hatch together, and the baby penguin becomes the first penguin in the zoo with "2 daddies." Apparently this is based on a true story. Does this sound like homosexual propoganda to you? I was furious, but unfortunately, many of my Christian friends are NOT on my side. What's wrong with our society?

I feel such a deep sense of sympathy for the hypocritical religious folk in the world. " Love no one abve God, and treat your brothers as you would be treated" Love everyone, oh wait I'm sorry , not everyone. Just the ones who act like I want them to, love who and how I want them to. After all Im not a "lemming" who walks around like a zombie, like some sort of robot being told what to do by a bunch of old white guys in collars or preachers who cheat on their wives with underage prostitutes. But thats ok, as long as they're not gay.

At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child - miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats.
We've been nice to the liberals for too long. They're thugs. The liberal dream is to control people, to oppress and exploit them for some 'higher' goal. ... liberals are always championing laws and social programs which are theoretically good for a class of people while being provably disastrous for people themselves: racial quotas, busing, welfare, my goddamned taxes. ... The core of the liberal belief is that the mass is more important than the man.
The principle feature of American liberalism is sanctimoniousness. By loudly denouncing all bad things - war and hunger and date rape - liberals testify to their own terrific goodness. More important, they promote themselves to membership in a self-selecting elite of those who care deeply about such things... It's a kind of natural aristocracy, and the wonderful thing about this aristocracy is that you don't have to be brave, smart, strong or even lucky to join it, you just have to be liberal.
